Hello there amazing human, and welcome to my blog. And today, I’m doing the “Summer Playlist” Challenge.

Now that’s outta the way, let’s get to the challenge.

★Gogobebe (Mamamoo)★

Forgive me, but when I was a noob to Mamamoo, I legit thought white wind was a summer comeback, not a comeback in the middle of January. I chose it because this title track (Gogobebe) is so tropical, too tropical for it to be released in January (in my opinion). Even the mv looks tropical and summery to me at some scenes. And the vocals in this one. Perfection. And Moonbyul’s rap left me shook for a few weeks.

★Love Is Over (Rocket Punch)★

One of my favorite songs I’ve heard from their debut mini album. It’s so great! I can see like, a pink summer (That doesn’t make sense Andrea but ok then..) the chorus makes it feel like it’s pink, I’m on a beach, and so may other different feelings I’m horrible at describing.

★Me Like Yuh (Jay Park)★

The reason why I chose it. We can all agree here. If you can’t hear “Summer” in this song just by the instrumental, you can’t be trusted and you’re lying to yourself. Basically some of the Jay Park songs on the album scream “Summer Night in the city” (That’s a bit specific) but this one, screams all the summer. On a tropical beach. Beautiful. The instrumental though. Don’t get me started on how beautiful this song is because I’ll be horrible at describing it.

★My Sunday (LOOΠΔ/HeeJin & HyunJin)★

This screams to me: Walking by the beach boardwalk on a summer afternoon. Am I the only one? The guitar and vocals from 2Jin (HeeJin And HyunJin) make it so peaceful on a summer boardwalk, getting some ice cream, and nothing stopping you from having a good day (except those seagulls taking a huge bite from your food). I love it so much!
