This is my first unboxing blog and I’m super excited to share Seventeen’s 6th mini album, You Made My Dawn with you! I bought them at the kpop store in my area.

I love the design of the album! It’s very similar to their You Make My Day albums, but these albums give off a completely different aura! My favorite cover is the Dawn Ver. The colors are so aesthetic!

Lenticular Cards

This is the first thing you see when you open the album. I’m very happy with the I got. I screamed with happiness when I got my bias for the Dawn Ver! Woozi, Minghao, and Hoshi look so beautiful in the cards! I love how it changes pictures when it reflects light at a certain angle.

CDs

The CDs are found right when you open the album as well. They’re designed similarly to the cover and slide out of the pocket they’re in.

Lyrics Booklet Covers

This booklet was put on top the photo book when you open the album completely under the lenticular card. The lyrics booklet covers are designed the same as the album cover, except the colors are a little darker and more dull than the album cover.

I like the layout of the lyrics inside the booklet! You can clearly see the lyrics and who contributed to each song. I think it’s cute how the put the You Made My Dawn “ribbon” thing in the corners too!

Behind the Scenes Cards

The behind the scenes cards were hidden in the middle of their respective album’s photo book. I was very surprised when I found these in the albums! They didn’t have behind the scenes cards in the You Make My Day albums! I love the filters of the pictures! It’s very cool how the card opens up to another picture on the inside!

Sticker

The sticker was also hidden in the middle of the respective album’s photo book, and it is also exclusive to the You Made My Dawn albums. We didn’t get this sticker in the You Make My Day albums. I think it’s cool how the “ribbon” thing goes through the YMMD acronym! It gives a bit of variety to the album design.

Okay, these are the cutest things ever! It’s so cute how the photo cards are their own selfies! I love them so much! And just like the stickers and behind the scenes cards, they were hidden in the middle of their album’s photo book.

Photo Books

Cover

The photo book is attached to the middle of the album. You can find it under the lyrics booklet. The photo book cover is a more simple design of the album covers. The “ribbon” thing surrounds the triangle in the center rather than all over the cover. It’s also shiny!

Sneak Peek Inside

Before Dawn Ver

I love the colors of the photos in this version. The look so good in purple, blue, and white. Their stares give me chills. They’re so beautiful!

Dawn Ver

I love this all white concept! The dead sunflower also adds a nice touch and maybe hints at some underlying meaning and connection to You Make My Day? This aesthetic gives me a somewhat calming feeling. It’s almost foreboding in a way, like the calm before the storm.

Eternal Sunshine Ver

This version has my favorite photos in it. The look so good in this concept and filter! These photos give me a nice warm feeling. I guess it’s because they’re seated at a table like you’re coming home to them for dinner or something. They just look so good!
