My Anime Hating Brother Thinks K Project Is Cool (Story Time)

So this was something that happened to me yesterday that made me feel very accomplished with my life.

(This may seem off the topic of K for the beginning but I promise we get there)

So I had been watching Danganrompa in my living room when my brother, who hates anime, came out. He was making himself food and decided to comment on what I was watching.

“What kind of crap anime are you watching now?”

I stated the name of it and asked him why he wanted to know.

He told me that I used to watch cool anime’s but now I’m just watching crap.

I explained that I was watching it so I could play the game (I know that the animation comes before any of the games and I’m not a monster that does things out of order) then asked what he meant by “cool anime’s I used to watch.”

He told me “the one with the red guy.”

This is obviously not a very good description of an anime considering that there’s a lot of red guys in anime (example Grell from Black Butler) so I asked if he ed anything in particular that the “red guy” did.

He told me (end of season one spoilers) that “the red guy was stabbed and you started crying, and then there was another guy with a guy in blue and you started crying more.”

At this point I knew exactly what he meant. Mikoto was killed and I started crying. Then Yata was hurt by the death of his king and since he is my favorite character and it hurt me to see him cry. I decided to confirm it by pulling up a picture of Mikoto.

He looked at it and confirmed that the “red guy” he was talking about and proceeded to say “yeah you should continue to watch cool anime’s like that one.”

That’s how I found out that my anime hating brother thinks K Project is cool.
