Chapter 22: Into the Home of the Chaos Kin

"Athena it's great to fight one your side again!" Aashiya exclaimed heading out to save Palutena. "Yes it is for me too, but now we need to save Palutena. I feel like she's in even more danger." Athena informed. "Dark Pit and Orianna has gone ahead." Viridi informed the angels. Going into the entrance that was made by the lightning chariot it was crazy. "This is chaos!" Pit claimed. "That's why it's called the chaos vortex." Viridi replied. Flying and fighting a few more enemies a large group of eyes shocked everyone with them all screaming. "Sorry about that." Viridi and Athena acknowledged. Flying past that unspeakable horror more enemies came and then hands made of something that looked like ink. The angels tried to get through saying greeting to them trying to avoid the hands . The flying path went to an area with no enemies them the sky and space went black and the angels were other colors. "What's going on?" Aashiya wondered. "Um, I think you two are going the right way and I think it's almost like an optical illusion." Athena replied. Fighting many angels the illusion slipped returning to the scene of the chaos vortex. "Aw man. This is my only tunic." Pit moaned with a hot tub pillar coming up. "Better hold my nose." Aashiya thought shifting her bow into one hand and putting the other on her nose. (I can't draw noses.) Flying through Pit was happy then he got water up his nose and both the angels hair were wet. "Hey at least we have our color back!" Aashiya exclaimed with the angels tunics clean. Fighting a few more enemies two monoeyes showed up in the angels way. "Can you see?" Athena asked the angels. "Barely." The angels replied doing random shooting. With the monoeyes moving lead to a bunch of building and more enemies. Shooting at them something was strange. "I sense the chaos kin is nearby." Viridi claimed with clones coming. "Which one is the real one?!" Pit questioned with strange text coming out. Both angels moaned with the text moving out of their faces. Flying through to see some pieces of a temple collect into a tube shadows of the angels showed up. "Now what!?" Pit exclaimed with a few coming up. "Pit we just need to fight them." Aashiya replied shooting at a few. All the shadows came with different weapons the angels owned. Fighting the going through the tunnel it lead to a blank area showing a sideways building. "That's the real chaos kin! After it!" Viridi broadcasted with the angels wings speeding up. Flying through the angels continued to shoot at the chaos kin going through a tunnel within the sideways building. The tunnel lead to a portal from an eye with it leading to an area that looked like the place the angels fought Viridi. "My skin feels like it's about to peel off!" Pit informed with the two trying to find the chaos kin. "Keep on your big boy pants and continue to shoot the chaos kin!" Athena advised with the two shooting at it. Flying and fighting the chaos kin it lead to another area with it leading a trail of smoke. "We almost got it!" Both angels informed with them shooting at the chaos kin. "Not to be the party pooper but the power of flight is running out." Viridi stated with the angels gasping. This was one of the first times the power of flight was going to run out!" Viridi informed. "Just keep us up in the air as long as you can!" Pit replied with the two shooting at it with more enemies coming. Flying through another portal it went back to the chaos vortex. Both Aashiya and Pit kept shooting at the chaos kin but it still wouldn't go down.  Flying and fighting the chaos kin hit a rock with the angels shooting it. "Great job you two!" Athena congratulated to two adding "We need to get you two to land now." With the angels flying to a small platform.

"Where's Palutena's soul!?" Pit wondered with the two looking around. "She's close." Viridi replied adding "But you two will need to fight enemies first." "These are all enemies you two have fought before but not like this." Athena informed. Attacking them the goddesses were having a discussion. "I have a feeling that the chaos kin is making these." Viridi informed. "Maybe, they did make the clones." Athena replied with the two pondering. "Wait... then there must be an endless supplies!" Both angels exclaimed. "No, that wouldn't be possible." Viridi informed with the two angels fighting off the first wave a second came. "I hope there aren't that many." Aashiya hoped with Pit nodding. Going onto the third waves all of them knew it was going to be a bit.

I'm going to quickly show the conversation with the komatos.

"Komatos look like little metroids." Pit commented. "Sh! Stop right there!" Viridi scolded. "All he said was komatos look like metr-" Aashiya replied getting cut off. "This universe has nothing to do with that universe!" Athena exclaimed with the two fighting more.

I love all the video game based conversations. I'm going to the ninth wave.

Defeating the final komato the two saw no enemies come. Both angels confused Orianna and Dark Pit came in landing on the same platform."Seems like you two need some help." Both of the copies announced. "I can do this myself. And why are you two so interested in helping us anyways?" Pit wondered. "it take any help when you can." Aashiya scolded keeping her voice low adding out loud "Thank you!" "While you were a ring, I was unconscious.  I was nothing, I wasn't myself." Dark Pit replied. "I was the same way." Orianna added. "Then all of you must be connected in some way!" Athena concluded with the angels fighting. "Let's take all the enemies out!" Aashiya, Orianna, Pit and Dark Pit all cheered with all of them going to other enemies. "Team villains are putting up quite the fight. But the four of you working together it'll be a lot easier." Viridi broadcasted. It lead to the tenth wave, it had some underworld guttlers. "Take those out first. When they eat they get stronger." Athena advised. "Oh like me!" Pit exclaimed with Dark Pit adding "Definitely." "Athena's right. It'll even resort to eating friends." Viridi broadcasted. "I would never eat my friends!" Pit informed. "I don't know about that Pit. One time on a mission you went down to eat floor icecream and bit my wing." Aashiya informed with the goddesses gasping, Dark Pit and Orianna laughing and Pit blushing. Fighting another wave of a few enemies the enemies lead to wave twelve. "Wave twelve! We might be getting close to the end!" Viridi broadcasted. "You keep saying that but the enemies keep on coming!" Dark Pit complained. "Just don't say anything about the last wave and we can maybe get to the end." Orianna advised with her shooting an enemy. With two large enemies huddling and jumping around a plan came up. "Guys! If the enemies are jumping in the middle we should go in between them and shoot at them." Aashiya advised with all of them running over trying not to get squashed. Fighting them with the plan one came but one coming then leading to another wave. "Thirteen wave! This ha-" Viridi said getting cut of by Orianna and Dark Pit. "Don't say it!" "No she might be right! This has to be the last one!" Athena added with a few enemies coming. "Than it's time." Dark Pit and Pit acknowledged. "Wait what's going on?" Orianna and Aashiya questioned confused and a little nervous. "The pre-boss battle cry!" Dark Pit replied with a few laughters coming. "Ah yes." Pit added clearing his throat. "Filth of the land hear our words!" Pit exclaimed. "And see out actions!" Pitoo added. "I am Pit servant of the goddess of light!" Pit stated. "And I am Dark Pit, servant of no one." Dark Pit claimed with Orianna and Aashiya adding a bit. "I am Aashiya helper of the goddess of wisdom and war!" Aashiya declared. "I am Orianna servant of the god of Air and wind! Prepare to be blown away!" She exclaimed with a few of them shocked by the fact she might've had or has a god. "We'll all rain death upon you!" All of the angels exclaimed. "So if anyone wants to die line up!" Dark Pit advised. "And if you don't too bad!" Aashiya added. "Hey that was my line!" Pit moaned with Orianna shooting an enemy near him. Pit let out a scream with everyone in the group laughing. "Hey you did that on purpose!" Pit said pointing at Orianna. "Maybe maybe not." She replied. Fighting the last enemies the angels to a breather because no enemies showed up. The chaos kin showed up. "Look who came up to fight!" Dark Pit and Orianna noted with the two getting their blades ready. "Game over chaos kin!" Pit added with everyone getting ready. It started to fly away with Viridi and Athena informing "Here! Let us help!" An electric shock shocked the chaos kin with it falling back onto the platform. "We set up traps in the middle so if the chaos kin runs into one all of you can just shoot at it." Athena stated. Shooting at it the beast still wasn't going down. "You'll pay for what you've done chaos kin!" Aashiya and Pit claimed. "Eating souls is bad enough. But taking a goddesses soul is taking it too far!" Athena added. Fighting and shooting with a discussion going on about how Palutena was waiting for the two angels. Finishing off the chaos kin all of them were glad to defeat the chaos kin. Palutena's soul came out of the chaos kins remains with Athena coming to check on her. Palutena gasped excited to see her angel. "It's great to see you ok!" Both Pit and Athena said with them circling around her. Aashiya stood by with Orianna and Dark Pit idolizing far away. The two copies looked back before walking ahead. But before they could fly off something grabbed their legs. Both of them screaming it caught the angels off guard. "Viridi! Let me fly!" Pit informed with Aashiya stating "Athena please let me fly and help her!" "But your wings will burn up!" Athena informed with Aashiya and Pit jumping off to help. "I don't care! Let me fly and help her!" Aashiya replied. Aashiya flew becoming a ball of fire with Orianna and Dark Pit struggling. Putting her hand down to get Orianna the two held together looking like they were hugging. "I'm getting you out!" Athena informed pulling out Aashiya and Orianna. Placing the angels on a piece of land Dark Pit and Orianna woke up weak. "How's Aashiya?" Orianna asked trying to lift herself up. "She's in bad shape." Athena replied adding "She can't fly and is barely breathing." With Athena walking up to Aashiya's body on the ground. Athena grabbed her flipping Aashiya over to see her face. Reflecting on memories she mourned "Oh.. Aashiya." Before looking up into the sky seeing the night sky.

Sorry this took awhile. I was really busy this week, but I won't be anymore. Thank you all for over 200 followers! I'll make sure to make the post.
