I'm going to try to explain a little of his new backstory, im sorry for it being a little messy! its still in the pre-writing/first draft phase but i couldnt wait to rp with him! :,)

So, to start off he is the only child of his parents; his dad is a very ocupied buisnessman, and his mom working multiple part-time jobs.

He was not planned, when he was born it threw a curve ball in his mom's aspirations; with his dad constantly gone on buisness she was forced to have to focus on taking care of him. Even though his dad did make more than enough money for the family he was rarely there to provide it to them. He was left by himself most of the time, never really forming a bond with his parents.

He had almost no-one he was close with growing up except for his childhood friend, Ryn.

Ryn was a little bit older than him, and was the one who mostly cared for him. Their families were friends, specifically their dad's, who had known eachother before moving to the US. Luni was often babysat by Ryn's mom, and ocasonally his dad. he was closer to that family than his own. It didnt help that his dad still didnt want to accept that he had a kid, he distanced himself, still wanting to prioritize his buisness over settling down. His dad's friend noticed this and decided he needed to step up for him, despite already having the family he wanted.

Him and Ryn grew up attached at the hip, Luni looked up to him just as Ryn sought to always be there for Luni. They are all they had ever known; despite moving countless times in their childhood a little after they got into highschool, ryn's dad convinced luni's to settle for a house in the town they were in at the time, so when he had to move for work they didnt have to uproot everytime.

Luni always had a hard time in school, especially when highschool rolled around. Ryn was maturing, he wanted to make friends, get into clubs and do things. He wanted to grow up. Luni had a hard time with this, he couldnt make friends like ryn could, he felt abandoned and he didnt understand why he would "choose" those people over him. their friendship would become rocky, as luni became unstable, only finding solace in him. Ryn didnt hate Luni, if anything it was the opposite. He wanted luni to get out and make friends too, he wanted Luni to grow just as much as he was; but it wasnt made easy. Luni was an easy target, and being with Ryn put a target on his back. As much as Ryn tried to get Luni to put himself out there, the people he hung out with didnt want him around. It only became worse as they grew up.

AAAND thats about all I have so far! :')

there is about still half of the story i need to finish, but its complicated and i still need to figure out a good way to portray it. the main idea is there is more intense conflict between Luni and Ryn, following that with a freak accident leading to Ryn's death. Grappling with guilt, Luni spirals and eventually ends his life, only to abrupbtly awake in his bed, a week earlier. its a loop after that. I have NOOO idea how to go about this, but I feel a need to fufill this for my younger self (lmao)
