You meet Satsuki Kiryuin in episode one, and in quite a unique way. :joy: Mako gives up too much information, Ryuko goes straight for her, and gets her ass kicked in front of everyone, including Satsuki.

2. Why can the Kiryuin family wear kamuis?

Ragyo is infused with life fibers, as well as Ryuko, but Satsuki is a rare case. I believe Satsuki can wear Junketsu and Senketsu because she has a strong will and refuses to give up or let anything get the better of her.

3. How does Ryuko Matoi fit into the Kiryuin family?

Ryuko Matoi is the child of Ragyo and Soichiro Kiryuin, who Ragyo thought died while attempting to infuse the life fibers with her body because it didn't work on Satsuki. This is revealed later on in the show when Ragyo basically rips Ryuko's heart out of her chest just to be sure of who she really is. That's how Satsuki finds out her sister is alive as well.

4. What is the name of the current elder in the Kiryuin family?

Ragyo Kiryuin is the current elder, up until she's defeated, then it would technically be Satsuki since she's supposed to be her successor.

5. What was Ragyo Kiryuin's late husband's real name?

Ragyo's late husband's real name was Soichiro Kiryuin, which he changed to Ishin Matoi after faking his death to protect himself and Ryuko because he saved her life after Ragyo tossed her out like she was just simple trash.
