A Day 255 Thingymabob

Oh hi there.

Whelp, guess it’s that time. Day 255, huh? I can’t believe I’ve already hit it, so much has happened lately.

Amino was something that I was like “Y’know what, let’s check it out. I’m sure it’ll be interesting, at least”. How naive I was then. I had known about Amino for a few months, but it wasn’t until July 3rd, 2017 that I ed this wonderful place. Ever since then, I’ve met a lot of fantastic and amazing people out there. Some who have changed my life for the better, and some who have been an absolute blast. I want to give a shoutout to these wonderful people.

Radiant Garden

This..this chat right here is pretty much where I started picking up in activity. Before, like many people who first , I was shy, just looked at posts and making comments, not really ing any chats. But everything changed when the Fire Nation atta- I mean, I commented on a certain post. Y’see, some time back in September, Leaders and Curators we’re making posts about how they weren’t robots and they’re people too, etc. (Don’t believe them for a moment. I mean, c’mon. Shinya is an alien. Kin is the lord of Darkness among many other things. Don’t fall for their tricks.) On one of those posts, I commented about how there should be a chat where people can just chat with Leaders and Curators. Coincidentally, the post just so happened to be Fiamma’s. She then introduced me to Radiant Garden, and my Amino experience changed ever since.

As soon as I entered, I was greeted by a few friendly faces (It was at like 11 at night, so everyone was pretty much asleep). Unfortunately I can only two particular people: Guile and Leamura(Lea). I that it was about the cosplay they did, and it was actually pretty interesting. Ever since then, I’ve met so many different people. From artists to editors, memesters to musicians, we’ve got a wild crowd out here. Heck, even the official characters have been spotted here. But as time has ed, some people have gone and some have come. Each and every person that I’ve met here is interesting and unique in their own way. I love each and every one of you guys, you mean so much to me. Radiant Garden has definitely declined in activity since back then, but it’s still kicking, and it’s not dying any time soon. I sincerely look forward to the rest of the time and insanity that’ll happen here.

Nilla’s Crew

This is another rather interesting chat. I actually have been here since it’s foundation, pretty much. It started with Irie jokingly being a pirate captain, with Nilla and I in her crew. Well, soon Nilla took the idea of a crew and expanded on it. Inspired by One Piece (great manga and anime, totally recommend it :eyes: :ok_hand: ), he abandoned Irie’s crew and made his own. However, instead of it being a joke, this one has a goal: to help each other to achieve our dreams, and to help each other out with motivation and getting through life’s problems. Just like Radiant Garden, it’s definitely a wild active place, even more so lately. While the crew isn’t even at 60 though, it’s definitely grown over the few months. Thank you, for being so ive of each other. For being there for those who need help, and to be there to help each other reach their dreams.

Bonus: If you want to Nilla’s Crew, you can PM Nilla and ask. Be warned though, he won’t let you in if you don’t have a dream(Imaginary or irl).

Leaders and Curators

Honestly, these guys deserve more love. They put so much time and effort into keeping this Amino fun, safe and friendly. I’ve seen and been to other Aminos, and a lot of them are in chaos or just terrible because of the people in charge. Truly running an Amino, especially one that’s gotten as big as this one, takes a lot of work. In the end of the day, they’re still people too. They have feelings, lives outside of Amino and get angry/frustrated. So I thank you guys for doing such an amazing job, for doing all the work that you have done to make this community so amazing.

Official Characters

Even though the events are currently down, they’ll always hold a place in my heart. The first one I ever took part of as a observer was the Demyx event. (I was too shy to any public chats and ended up missing the big one in August, RIP) It was honestly the most bizarre yet hilarious thing I had ever seen. I absolutely loved watching the characters in action, and I loved trying to figure out who did which character.

Couple of months later, shortly after Halloween, I got a message from my Kin. I did something he asked me to do, and a couple of days later I found myself invited to a group chat. Apparently I had been chosen as the new official Sora. I agreed to do it, and that changed a lot about the events for me. I met a lot of new people, and got to have an absolute blast with them. The closing of the events was definitely disheartening, but they’ll be back, and I personally can’t wait.

Clubs

As time has gone on, I somehow managed to a few clubs. In particular the Editing, Roleplay and SoRiku club. I want to say thank you for letting me , and for the amazing stuff that you guys do.

You are an amazing Captain. You single handedly made something important, something meaningful. You have brought inspiration and motivation to others who needed it. I legitimately ire you for what you have done and the things you do. Keep it up, and just know that I’ll always be loyal to the crew.

Nya/BlueJay

For those who somehow have not heard the news, Nya is no longer a leader. She had been one for over a year and a half on this community, pretty much since the beginning. But she recently stepped down to not deal with the stress and relax. So thank you, Nya, for all the work that you had done. I sincerely appreciate it all, and I hope you enjoy being a normal . But are any of us really normal?

Light

Things have been a wild ride between us. There have been ups, and there definitely have been downs. But through it all, we’ve managed to stay friends. You have been an amazing RP buddy, and a lot of the fun that I have from it is because of you. Thank you for being there for me when I need someone to talk to, and for being such a great friend.

I have so much to thank you for. For accepting my love when I confessed to you, for introducing me to Roleplay and making it truly enjoyable, for all the laughs and fun times together, for just being yourself. You are a kind, fun, sweet, beautiful, amazing, wonderful, talented, caring and funny person. Even though we are a thousand miles apart, you’re here in my heart. You always will be. Also, happy late birthday! :tada:

Anyways, I just have one last thank you: to this entire community. This Amino is honestly one of the most fun and amazing ones that I’ve been in. While there still are the bad people out there, there’s so many good, weird and talented people here. So many amazing editors and artists, clever theorists, awesome friends and so much more. Thank you, everyone, for making this Amino what it is.
