Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary Questions

Hello all! Welcome to the blog, I haven't done one of these in a while, so hope you enjoy.

How did you find yourself getting into the series?

I suppose I'm more of a 'new' fan compared to others, but I got into the series after watching a stream of KH1.5. I loved Disney, and I was looking for a game to get into, so it was perfect.

Which is your favorite game, and why?

That's a tough question, I like a lot of them, and Days has my favorite characters, but I'd have to go with Kingdom Hearts 2. I've got the platinum trophy on it, and I've spent the most time on it, but a lot of the other games come really close, too. I based this decision on gameplay time, really. Overall, Kingdom Hearts 2 has the smoothest gameplay of its time, and it has a good amount of lore to keep me entertained.

What would you say is the moment in the series that impacted you the most?

Heh... lots. It's a tie between losing Xion in 358/2 Days, or the beginning of KH2, where Roxas' whole world changes. Both of these moments have such emotional soundtracks and I'm sure we can all relate to that feeling of our summer vacation ending.

What about the most epic moment?

Oh, definitely Xion's data battle in ReMind. The amped up theme is awesome and I could(and have) done the battle a million times.

Which game has the best overall soundtrack?

It's between KH2 and KH3, but I'll have to go with KH3 since it has mostly all of the tracks in KH2, as well as the awesome Xion theme, Scala, the Final World, and the DLC bosses as a whole. They really tied together all of the music from all of the games, and it was perfectly done.

Who's my favorite character?

Haha... Xion. Her story is tragic, her themes are great, and she's adorable. I'm more in love with a tomboy version of her, though.

Who would you say is the most relatable character for you?

Hmmm... I don't think I've thought about this much. Maybe Lea? He's funny but he's also emotional at times and he protects the people he cares about. I'm also a little nerdy, though, so maybe one of the Radiant Garden scientists/apprentices.

Are there any worlds you would like to be added to a future game?

Hmm, Moana(an Island near Destiny Islands question mark), Brave, Encanto, I can't think of them all right now :joy: . There's lots.

Are there any specific scenarios you'd like to happen?

Yes! I want a cute cutscene with Xion, Lea, and Roxas on the beach, just the three of them opposed to that cutscene at the end of KH3. I generally just want more of that trio as a whole, and I also want Ienzo and Ansem to bond more, maybe more descriptions of Ienzo's time when he first ed the organization, since he was still pretty young.

Finally, what would you say the series has done for you as a whole?

Well, it helped a lot during the pandemic, it gave me something to do(replaying all of the games, yay). It's given me something to focus on in my freetime, but in all, it helped me make a really good friend, and that's helped me a lot these past few years.
