Roxas: *Knocks on door* Hey, are you guys free?
Kairi: We will be in a sec!
Riku: We’re sharing a paopu fruit, but this won’t take long.
Roxas: Didn’t you share one months ago? I thought that you hated its flavor.
Sora: Come in, you can us if you want.
Roxas: *Hesitates before opening the door* Don’t take this the wrong way, but I don’t think we’re that clo…
Kairi: We have some to spare! We can go hang out as soon as we finish.
Roxas: Is that.. Why on earth are your faces green?
*They all stare at Roxas like nothing was out of place, clips on their hair holding their hair out of the way.*
Sora: In 15 minutes we can take this off, are you sure you don’t want some?
Riku: It feels amazing, even if it changes nothing.
Kairi: That’s because your skin is perfect. Us mortals need it’s hydrating benefits.
*Riku laughed as Roxas continued to stare. Riku had a high ponytail, the bright green paste perfectly applied on his skin. He was applying the mask on to Sora, while Kairi, who had her hair up into two buns, tied Sora’s hair in multiple smaller sections.*
Kairi: We do this every week, it’s our symbolic way to renew our paopu promise. *Kairi smiles and Roxas noticed how uneven her mask was on, a dead giveaway as to who had applied hers.*
Sora: But don’t feel intimidated by the mask, the fruit’s binding properties are only active if you eat it.
Riku: And believe me, we haven’t and won’t eat it ever again.
Kairi: Speak for yourself.
*Riku and Sora do gagging sounds, earning a glare from Kairi.*
Kairi: So, you want to us?
Roxas: *Raises hands defensibly* Sorry guys, I don’t do masks.
*Riku let out a low whistle and Kairi, who had just finished with Sora’s hair, turned to look at Roxas with a determined look in her eyes.*
*Five minutes later.*
Axel: *Knocks on the door* Why are you guys taking so long?
Aqua: We’ll miss the sunset!
Kairi: Come in, come in!
Roxas: No! Don’t! Save yourselves!
*Aqua and Axel share worried looks, hastily opening the door.*
Aqua: What’s going on?
*Axel snickers as he watches Roxas’ grim expression as he’s sitting in the middle of the three green-faced idiots. Riku held him in a bear hug as Kairi placed numerous hair ties on his hair and Sora sloppily applied the mask on his face.*
Riku: Want to ?
Roxas: They have better things to-
Axel: I can always use a good face mask in my life.
Aqua: Kairi where do you keep your hair pins?
*And as the minutes ed, the remaining trio friends came to look for them, and to Roxas chagrin, they all happily ended up with green faces. At the end of the night, no one saw the sunset and they all had fun sharing the paopu in their own way.*
