The Soriku continues! [COLLAB PART 2]

Okay, so I just wanted to start this off with the cutscene of Riku vs Xion. Basically, they fight and Riku manages to knock her out, he took off his blindfold to get a good luck of her face. But when he gets to see what she looks like, Riku freezes in shock because she looks like Kairi. He asks who she really is and why she has a keyblade. Xion asks why Riku wears the same coat as the Organization. THIS SWEET CHILD JUST INSTANTLY REPLIES, "TO MAKE SURE MY BEST FRIEND SLEEPS IN PEACE." THAT MADE ME WANT TO SCREAM, JUSt. SORA IS THE ONLY REASON RIKU IS FIGHTING OR DOING ANY OF THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE, HE'S JUST BEEN DOING ALL OF THIS FOR SORA, FOR A YEAR. :sob: :sob:

Just, the way how that was Riku's only answer had me dead, Riku just cares so much for Sora and is fighting for him, and putting himself in danger. And I just- **hyperventilates**

Okay, I'll stop for this cutscene. I swear. reviewing my otp for these games puts my SoRiku fangirl mode into hyperdrive. I ALSO WANTED TO TALK ABOUT THE CUTSCENE WHERE RIKU AND XION ARE AT DESTINY ISLANDS. XION WAS THERE ON THE GROUND HAVING FLASHBACKS OF SORA'S MEMORIES, RIKU WAS THERE TO HELP AND EXPLAINED THAT SHE WAS APART OF SORA. AND THAT HE NEEDED HER TO RETURN TO HIM SO HE COULD WAKE UP. This is the important part thougH, XION ASKED RIKU IF HE WAS MAD AT HER FOR TAKING HIS FRIEND AWAY. He just replis with, "Nah. I guess...I'm just sad." IM SCREECHING, WHERE'S THE PETITION FOR NOMURA TO STOP SEPARATING THESE PRECIOUS BOYS. HE WASN'T EVEN MAD AT ION THAT SHE WAS THE REASON WHY SORA COULDN'T WAKE UP, HE'S JUST SAD AND DOESN'T EVEN GET UPSET WITH HER, LIKE. HE WAS PERFECTLY CALM THE ENTIRE TIME SPEAKING WITH HER, EVEN THOUGH SHE REFUSED TO BACK, AND WAKING UP SORS WAS HIS TOP PRIORITY?? HE WAS JUST SO NICE ABOUT IT AND WANTED SORA BACK ON THE INSIDE, BUT HE DIDN'T FORCE HER TO COME BACK AT ALL. HE JUST PATIENTLY WAITED, HE'S JUST SO WILLING TO DO ANYTHING FOR SORA TO WAKE UP. Don't mind me as I go sob in my SoRiku feels corner. :cry:

OKAY, BUT NONE OF THESE ARE EVEN AS BAD AS THE LAST SORIKU CUTSCENE. *clears my throat* aHEM, I would like to address the final boss in 358/2 days. Which is Riku, and you have to fight him. The reason this cutscene is my favorite SoRiku moment specifically, is because this is the scene where Riku makes a sacrifice. Which was him releasing the darkness in his heart after having no choice but to turn into Ansem. Roxas managed to land a bad hit on him, so Riku released the darkness from his heart. But Riku KNEW that this would change him forever, he NEW that he most likely wouldn't be able to change back. But he did it anyway and turned into Ansem. He sacrificed never looking the same again, or how he used to. All for Sora.

He didn't even give that a second thought, and instantly released the darkness from his heart, just so he could defeat Roxas and bring him to DiZ. Riku was already only doing all of this for Sora, but in the end sacrificed himself for him. This proves that Riku would die and do anything for Sora, and probably holds Sora above himself and everything else. This is my favorite cutscene cause it showed how dedicated and determined Riku was to get Sora back. He even itted to being sad, but even kept on pushing just to help Sora. Even if that meant physically looking like Ansem for the rest of his life ;-;.HONESTLY, WHERE IS THE PETITION FOR NOMURA TO STOP SEPARATING THESE BOYS. THANK YOU, VERY MUCH. But on the serious note, this was my attempt at reviewing SoRiku moments in 358/2 days. It was sadly short though since the whole game is about Roxas and centers around him. I hope l've shown someone the light with this beautiful SoRiku review. But anyway, back to Nat!(*ﾟ▽ﾟ)ﾉ

I'm back ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) but with a kh2 soriku review. This is where it all started for me! I started shipping Soriku after seeing how much Sora was looking for Riku. He ended up losing his memories because he arrived to castle oblivion while looking for him, and as soon as he wakes up and forgets everything he continues looking for his best friend. His face everytime he misses him and whenever someone tells him that they haven't seen him h u r ts. And on the other side Riku had sacrificed himself for Sora and now can not face him, just watching Sora and making sure he's ok from the shadows. Riku was with Sora the whole time and watched him look for HIM. And something I seriously appreciate is how some disney characters would realise his sadness and can see how much he wants to see him, so they encourage Sora that he will find Riku sooner or later.

Their hearts are connected after all *cough* that was a DDD spoiler *cough* and can we mention how Riku was the one who told Sora that Santa doesn't exist? Why did I laugh at that :joy: I'm not going to go through all the moments of Sora feeling depressed for missing Riku by just a bit or else 2 blogs wont even be enough for the collab, but let's talk about the scene where Sora basically fights Riku thinking that he's just another organization member in the land of dragons. In the game Sora starts questioning if its Riku because he felt it when they fought, he has been sparring with him alot so of course he would recognise him. In the manga I think he starts questioning the same thing as well BUT Shang later gives him a paopu fruit saying "he wanted me to give you this"

Sora freaks out because he immediately knows it was Riku, he basically gave him a paopu in kingdom hearts 1. So he RUNS looking for him, IN THE MIDST OF BATTLE MIND YOU forgetting that there are heartless he needs to get rid of, calling him an idiot while doing so as well "That idiot! ing by without saying a word" (Ive read too many romance stories with this kind of scene, even Nalu has this scene where Lucy runs and looks for Natsu calling him an idiot wow- I need to stop referencing my other otp omg XD)

He keeps looking for him through the worlds after that, getting dissapointed because he keeps missing him but he didn't know that Riku was beside him and helping him the whole time. Until they reunite in the world that never was, omg the reunion scene. The scene which certain people try to justify, they try to justify why Sora held Riku's hand and fell down cried while holding onto it.

It basically is because of how much he cares for Riku isnt it simple? But no "He didn't even know if his friend was alive" yes he did know he was alive, were you even playing the game? He said "that means Riku is here! I can see him!" when he was talking to mickey. And in the land of dragons when he fought him, Sora knew for sure that Riku is alive.

The reason he cried is because he was looking everywhere for him, he missed him so much, and he cares for Riku alot. In the novel it talks about how Sora couldn't stand anymore when he felt Riku's hand because he has held onto it "SO MANY TIMES" THAT HE COULDN'T NOT RECOGNISE IT??? WOA THAT SAYS ALOT-

In the manga Riku even cries as well, that is the cutest thing I have ever seen. And the "I looked everywhere for you!" actually parallels a scene for a ship in dream drop distance (which I will reveal later) the way Sora looks at Riku after that scene kills me, its like how Riku kept looking at Sora when they wrote kids. Affection is clearly seen in their eyes, how much they truly care for each other. When the explosion happened the first person Sora rushed towards was Riku (because he was worried since Riku suddenly shielded him and everyone before the explosion happened) he went to see if he is ok and the rest heard him calling out to Riku so they went to see what's wrong.

Only to be surprised that Riku's appearance had gone back to the way its supposed to be which made Sora smile while calling him again "Riku, You gonna take that off?" "and who were you trying to fool, huhh huhhh? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)" "What should we do, Riku?" how much Sora is giving attention to Riku is killing me omg, he's only talking to him- before the battle Riku indirectly talks to Sora and then ends it with "are you ready Sora?" after the battle that were celebrating but Sora goes to Riku who was standing there "youre coming with us right?" Riku tries to say that he cant and Sora looks devastated

until Riku asks about how he's going to face everyone. "Like thisss? *insert cute goofy face*" RIKU'S LAUGH MY LIFE IS COMPLETE BLESS THIS SHIP. These two have been away for like a year, but its like they've never been seperated. They are even closer than before can you believe it, in the midst of battle Sora just had to tell Riku his feelings about having to thank Naminè XD and I will let a post just show you how protective Riku is towards Sora Click here to see it!

Dont get me started on the fact they fight so well together, eternal session thoughhh :sob: :ok_hand: Yaaasss. Think about it though, they just reunited and can do that limit?! And the bro fist in the end they are simply AMAZING. but after the battle with Xemnas they find themselves stuck and have no idea where to go, Riku got hit twice very badly. The second one was a blow he took for Sora so he was kind of limp and couldn't walk and then Sora had to help him out, the poor baby couldn't fight any longer :sob: Sora kept being positive and encouraging him that they will find a way out while looking at Riku was with some 10/10 look that would make any fangirl faint. You can see just how close these two are, no one can deny it :joy: but the thing which shocked me is that when they arrive to the "end of the road" Sora agrees with Riku and basically accepts that they might stay together there forever. And he was ok with it!

As he could rest in peace knowing that everyone else is safe and staying with his best friend would not be that bad. I always wonder what wouldve happened if they didn't somehow get Kairi's letter, till now I question how that happened XD Im pretty sure this proves the theory that the realm of darkness and destiny islands are totally connected. "We'll go together!" MY HEART

Anyway they get out of the realm and Kairi welcomes them back and that ends kh 2~

BUT THEN THIS HAPPENS IN THE SECRET ENDING WHERE THEY LITERALLY SWITCH PLACES, SORA IS USUALLY THE ONE WHO SITS ON THE TREE PLZ KILL ME THEYRE SO PERFECT- "Riku what do you think was that? The door to light?" *Riku smiles and gets off the tree and gets closer to Sora then points at his heart* *Sora looks at Riku answer smiles fondly* I CANT BELIEVE PEOPLE WONDER WHY WE SHIP IT

LOOKS LIKE ITS BACK TO ME FOR THE DATA SORIKU REVIEW. OTHERWISE KNOWN AS RE:CODED. HUEHUE. Anyway, first of all. Let's talk about how Data-Riku is always aplogizing and saying sorry to Data-Sora, for like. The most smallest and littles of things?? He's just constantly like, "you're right, sorry." AND DATA SORA JUST SMILES AND SHAKES HIS HEAD AND REPLIES, "Stop saying sorry so much" and Data-Riku aplogizes for saying sorry too much like a dork. They're so cute guys, like omg. There'S EVEN A PICTURE OF WHERE DATA-SORA SMILES AT DATA-RIKU, AND DATA-RIKU SMILES BACK AND IS BLUSHING.

LIKE :eyes: :eyes: WHAT ARE YOU EMBARRASSED ABOUT MY DUDE? DOES DATA-SORA JUST MAKE HIM BLUSH? EITHER WAY, I SEE YOU MY DUDE. AND THERE'S EVEN A SCENE WHERE PETE PUTS BUGS IN DATA-RIKU. AND PETE SAYS THAT HE COMMANDS RIKU TO FIGHT SORA. BUT DATA-RIKU REFUSES AND SAYS NO, PETE IS JUST A JERK AND PUTS MORE BUGS IN DATA-RIKU, AND THE POOR BABY IS SCREAMING IN PAIN. DATA-SORA LOOKED SO CONCERNED AND HURT TO WATCH. BUT THEN DATA-RIKU HAS HIS SWORD AND HE SAYS ONE THING TO SORA AS THEY'RE FIGHTING. BUT BEFORE THEY DID FIGHT, DATA-RIKU WAS REFUSING TO ATTACK DATA-SORA. BUT PETE JUST ADDED MORE BUGS. SO DATA-RIKU WAS GOING TO BE FORCED TO FIGHT DATA-SORA. BUT RIKU WAS JUST FROZEN UP AND STARING AT THE CEILING, DATA-SORA RAN TO HIM AND PUT HIS HANDS ON DATA-RIKU'S SHOULDERS AND SAID, "Riku! Talk to me!"

IN THE MOST DESPARATE VOICE, DON'T MIND MY TEARS. DATA-RIKU JUST MOVED AND ATTEMPTED TO ATTACK HIM

WHEN DATA-SORA ASKED IF HE COULD HEAR HIM ALL DATA-RIKU SAID WAS, "Destroy me.." HE SOUNDED SO SAD AND WANTED DATA-SORA TO STRAIGHT UP KILL HIM, LIKE. I FELT LIKE CRYING, LIKE OMFG. AND SORA WAS CONFUSED AND DIDN'T WANT THAT. SO HE DEFEATED RIKU AND WENT INSIDE OF HIM TO FIND DATA-RIKU'S BODY SLOWLY GETTING INFECTED BY BUGS. DATA-RIKU TELLS DATA-SORA TO LEAVE BEFORE THE BUGS TRAP THEM IN THERE AND DESTROYS THEM BOTH.

So, Data-Sora is just basically like, "So, is there like. Escape time?" Data-Riku is confused but replies, "yeah, but you should really get going." Data-Sora just smiles like a dork at Data-Riku and I WHEEZED WHEN HE JUST SAID, "So there is still just enough time. Great! Since there's escape time, there's still enough time to save you. Lol ."

DATA-RIKU IS JUST SHOCKED AND CONFUSED, HE'S LIKE, "THAT WASN'T WHAT I MEANT AT ALL??" Data-Sora just zac efron shrugs and is like, "Do you really expect me to leave you like this? Bro, I care about you." RIKU's fACE AND THE WAY HE SAID ,"Sora..." JUST. GOD HELP ME, THEY'RE NOT EVEN THE REAL SORA AND RIKU AND I STILL SHIP IT. BLESS EVERY FORM OF SORIKU. :raised_hands: :weary: THE WAY DATA-RIKU JUST REPLIED AND IT SOUNDED LIKE THERE WAS FONDNESS IN HIS VOICE AS SPOKE AND SAID, "I now, once you get an idea stuck in your head.." DATA-RIKU IS JUST SMILING THE ENTIRE TIME, SOMEONE SAVE ME THEY'RE TOO CUTE AND PURE. DJSJS okay, I really need to stop fangirling in every review.

Anyway, I'm gonna skip to where they're in traverse town and Sora is still fighting the bugs so they won't be in Riku anymore. Basically Riku is just saying that he couldn't tell Sora what was going on when they first met because he needed to toughen Sora up. He said if Sora couldn't do the job then he would'e gladly did it himself. Sora is just like, "You know what? You gotta stop doing everything by yourself. 'I LIKE getting dragged into your messes'. Donald and Goofy said that. Friends want to help you out whenever they can." "Sora.." "Forget that 'on my own' talk". "I'm sorry, you're right.." "And stop with all the apologizing. C'mon! We'e got things to do!" GUYS, I'M SCREAMING. JUST. THE WAY HOW DATA-RIKU INSTANTLY APOLOGIZED WAS SO CUTE, HE LOOKED A BIT SAD AND HE WAS JUST INSTANTLY DISAPPOINTED THAT WHAT HE DID WAS WRONG. AND SORA JUST INSTANTLY WANTED TO HELP RIKU FROM THE BEGINNING. THEY'RE SO CUTE, I FEEL LIKE CRYING. RIKU JUST KEEPS APOLOGIZING AND SORA JUST TELLS HIM THAT IT'S OKAY, AND THAT HE SHOULD STOP APOLOGIZING FOR NOTHING. JUST, **WHEEZE** IM GONNA HAVE A HEART ATTACK. THEY'RE TOO CUTE. OKAY, BUT THE NEXT CUTSCENE. IS WHEN THEY'RE IN WONDERLAND, SORA GETS DONE DEFEATING THE BUGS AND RIKU APPEARS. THE FIRST THING HE SAYS IS JUST, "Sora, I'm sorry". HOOMYGOODNESS, WHY IS DATA-RIKU SO PURE AND APOLOGETIC. SOMEBODY HELP THIS POOR PRECIOUS BEAN. HE'S OFFICIALLY TOO PURE FOR THIS WORLD. WHY IS HE SO CUTE? :sob: :sob: DATA-SORA IS JUST SO CONFUSED TOO AND IS LIKE, "Come on, stop saying that!" then Data-Riku comes in with the self hate, o h boy. This scene. "Can you blame me? I should have never let the bugs in like this. Every time it's me against an outside force. I always seem to give in." "Hey, Riku. Question: How many worlds have we been to now? 'Cause not too long ago, the answer to that question would've been only 'one'.

But now we've been to all kinds of places on tons of adventures. And instead of just sitting around and dreaming about what's out there. We've got the whole universe inside; these worlds are inside us. Try and let that sink in. I don't know much, but that's amazing! But you know..no matter the world, no matter how far, you're always the same. You're right. There may still be outside forces trying to pull you in, but I know you're not going to lose. Everything you touch makes you stronger. It always has."

GOD DAMN, THAT'S MY FAVORITE SPEECH AND LINE FROM DATA-SORA. HE'S SUCH A SWEETHEART, HONEST, AND REALLY CARES ABOUT DATA-RIKU. DESPITE THE FACT THAT ISN'T EVEN THE REAL RIKU AT ALL?? THEY'RE KINDA LIKE THEY'RE OWN PERSON AND DATA-SORA IS JUST SO CUTE WITH THE WAY HE ACTS AROUND DATA-RIKU. THEY MADE ME WANT TO SCREAM AND CRY ALL TOGETHER EVEN RIKU WAS OVERWHELMED AND TAKEN ABACK BY SORA'S SPEECH. Sora just says Riku wasn't the only one to grow through this. Data-Riku just starts teasing him and calls him a half-pint. They're so cute and how Data-Riku just teases Data-Sora out of nowhere. I think he might've did that as a cover up from being embarrassed by Sora's faith in him. :eyes: :eyes: ALSO, EVERYTHING DATA-RIKU TOUCHES MAKES HIMS STRONGER? **ZOOMS IN ON A PICTURE OF DATA-SORA** HMMMM :eyes: THAT'S ALL FOR THE REVIEW.
