my answer :: i am thankful for a lot of things this year. i want to specifically call out one, the thing i am most thankful for this year is our new cat, lucky. he is an orange tabby and he is only 1 years old. i am super thankful he showed up in our backyard, we waited 2 days to check if he was just let out as fresh air for a while or an abandoned cat. my mom and little sister went out in the night to let our dog out to use the bathroom, the cat was sitting there underneath something trying to stay safe and warm out of the rain. after that we took him to the vet 2 days later after letting him stay in our basement overnight. i am so thankful that lucky didn't come out to have any diseases as it looks like he's been out there for awhile. he was an abandoned cat who got let out by someone who lived close and just left him there. we now have him and he is as happy as ever. he is total besties with our turkish van white (2) and orange cat, mellow. (a male) he and our oldest cat, who is a gray and somewhat white (on some parts), she is a female named chloe (just turnt 3 in late nov) are still trying to get along but she is a little feisty. she is only really close with mellow as they've been together since they were kittens. (we got them in 2022 around may(?), chloe was 7 months old and mellow was only 4 months old.). anyway, i am so thankful that we have him now and he was cleard of any sickness, he thankfully had 0 fleas. we thought he had some in his ears when he was outside but it was just ear freckles 🥹 (which i didn't know you can have)
