This is a dedication letter i’ve been meaning to write to my ultimate bias in BTS, for his birthday, yet it’s delayed for today.

Regardless, of his birthday i celebrate him in my heart and mind every single day! i’ll mention his name only later on, so enjoy reading the blog!

from the one i rejected strongest in my beginning days as a bts fan to the one i love strongest and love the most nowadays, considering myself as a convicted solo fan.

he’s one of the rappers in bts and exactly because he’s a rapper i rejected him so strongly, thinking and even saying it out loud to my bestie “he’s a rapper. Rap isn’t my thing, so i don’t like him. I just can’t like him at all cause of that!”. I felt so guilty feeling that way and even having the guts to say that out loud. I felt disloyal to my bestie for disliking something that he loved, yet i knew i had the right to have my own opinion regardless of how he felt.

my bias was and still is jimin, yet for years on end, now i have an ultimate bias in bts as well and i’ll always be loyal to him, and no one will ever change my opinion or mind about it. What i’ve chosen will stay so!

what means an ultimate bias to me?

firstly, when i choose an artist in a specific group as my ultimate bias, it means i feel really connected to him in every way possible: mindset, emotionally and personality wise, etc. Of course, not 100%, yet for sure 60-80%. Let’s keep in mind the age difference, upbringing style and everything else that that can stand in opposition. Me and my ultimate we’re just two independent individuals that would cooperate for both of us to have it easier by each other’s side.

  secondly, i’ve realized that when it comes to my ultimate biases, i allow myself to experience my emotions to a deeper level and more intensely. My emotions, feelings and moods are of a broader palette: laughter, happiness, crying, sadness, pain, excitement, tiredness, exhaustion, and everything else. I experience everything together with my ultimate bias(es).

who is my ultimate bias in bts?

as i already said he’s one of the of the rap line. Who exactly? keep reading to figure it out yourself.

he’s a complete fluffball to me, hehe. We’re so much alike. We both might seem cold and distant at times cause we’re quiet, especially in the beginning, yet once you get close to us, we will open up little by little. In our friend group we’re both amongst the older of it.

we are attentive and care deeply about the people we hold dear and important to us. We stand by them no matter what. We also go to great lengths to show our love and appreciation to the ones important to us, no limits, really.

we actually have small similarities for some life events, i’ve realized that when i first listened to ‘’amygdala’’ and “the last”.

honestly, i barely can listen to these two songs, just because it’s basically like listening yoongi’s life on replay and i break into tears every time i listen to these two songs.

Dear Yoongi-ssi,

from 2018 up till now and forever i your choices, since it’s strictly your life and your choices. If it’s what makes you happy and at peace, i’ll it. What makes you happy and at peace, makes me feel the same.

If only i’d be there by you in your hardest moments, i’ll gladly offer you my shoulder to lean and cry on. I’ll hold you tightly, never let you go and comfort you the best i can. I think of you every so often. I love you dearly and deeply. A calm and steady love, like a warm and cozy firepace.

Thank YOU! Thank You for being born! Thank YOU for being alive and Thank YOU that you kept going no matter what has come your way up until now! you are strong and you did so well! Thank YOU for being a good example for me and so many others out there! Regardless of how you see yourself I'll tell you that you are truly amazing, exactly because you do the best out there to set a positive example for so many people on this planet! Always take good care of yourself! You are in my mind, heart and soul too! I love you now and forever!!
