It has come to the leader's and to the staff's attention that some of you haven't been following the guidelines. Specifically, the post related guidelines.
Posts on just images will be disabled and not featured. This was stated in the guidelines under the 'irrelevant' section.
Posts are meant to be intriguing and informative, to say the least. We don't want our feed to be covered up in all of these images, with no form of context, other than the title. We're covering this because we've been noticing it a lot more recently. If you have any posts that go under this category, and it hasn't been disabled, I highly suggest you go back and start writing some content within those posts before they do get disabled. Too many of this posts could lead to your entire profile being disabled.
Just images, such as memes, photos, etc., should be on the drive.
If you make a post containing a piece of artwork that you have made, explain the process of how it was made and the inspiration. The explanation/description must be at least 60+ words to avoid getting disabled and have a higher chance of getting featured. Credit original artwork or the photo that inspired the artwork (if there was one).
I highly suggest that you place in progress photos (or screenshots) into your art posts as well. This way, we can avoid conflict on whether your artwork is traced or not. By progress photos, I mean a picture of the first sketch, a picture in the middle of your progress, and finally, the finished product. Also, try adding some form of proof. Just to be safe. Such as, a signature or maybe a picture of your hand in front of the drawing. Things such as that.
If you make a post about your Cosplay, explain materials and where you bought it. If you made it yourself, explain the process and any other information that contributed to it. If it's someone else's Cosplay, credit them, and explain why you wanted to make a post about them.
With Cosplay, there is so much you can write about it your posts. If explaining the process doesn't seem to be long enough, try talking about why you wanted to Cosplay that certain character. Perhaps you can talk about your love for making Cosplay. Be creative, there's a lot you can write about.
There should be no plagiarism of any written works. Credit the original writer.
Plagiarism is wrong and should not be taken lightly. If you post someone else's work because you like it, you should credit them and explain why you made a post of their work. If we figure out a piece of work is stolen, you will be in a lot of trouble. So, do yourself a favor and just credit the original author. If you can't find them, then don't post it. If you found it on Google, there are many ways to find the original author.
Follow the guidelines at all times.

Hopefully, this clears up some things and we won't need to face these issues anymore. That will be all for today, have a nice day!~

I have a question about artwork. i understand we have to post progress pics to show that it is our own artwork but what if we drew it like years ago & dont have progress pics? would only the signature be fine?
A lot of people are writing full paragraphs about why they think this guideline should not apply. I, personally, think its possible and that we can all do this. I just wanted to thank you guys for handling these comments so well, and trying to keep this community going.
Not to sound rude or anything, but having an artist explain their work in 60+ words? That’s easier said than done for some artists. Some people draw just plainly out of boredom and don’t have an explanation as to what they draw. Also wouldn’t it be easier to put pictures of the process then have them add angle shots for proof instead of having them type an entire paragraph?? I don’t mean to sound rude or be disrespectful to the guidelines, but this itself is crossing the line. Like people usually don’t have the time to type so many words, and it seems you curators didn’t put that in the equation you used to come up with this.
Please pardon my rudeness..

Seriously, I wasn’t telling you guys to currently get organized... -_- and I hate to be rude to a leader, but if you guys WERE organized then there’d be more member activity.

For starters, slow down. Put the break on. Let them find the true purpose in this Amino. You curators and leaders are working TOO hard. Don’t you think?

This conversation was ten hours ago and you have been pretty offhand. I expected more maturity from a member. If you had such a problem, why couldn't you message me in a private chat instead of taking it out here?
We have already stated our answer, why can't you take it? Please think about your words as it may offend others. You even snapped at a member and since the beginning of this conversation you have been asking me to pardon your rudeness. Why must you keep going? I've been trying to handle this conversation as a staff member should but this is enough. Just stop carrying on a finished conversation.
I dont think that's a good rule because this is a such a small amino but you do you boo

Actually, it is necessary to follow these rules since its part of the guidelines. And its cheating to get images of others at treat them as your own.
Trust me, I've been annoyed because of this

I agree with darkness people will post things cause they have been inactive theres nothing really fun to do on here anymore i only go on here to roleplay with someone important to me besides that i dont bother much to look at anything else its basically all the same a few pictures of kurositshuji would be nice its something new since no one is really ever on amd doing anything its nice to see that some people are willing to freshen up the feed
Thank you for your comment. However, I've been hosting Daily Challenges every week for the past few months and barely anyone has participated. Each challenge is different and cover multiple aspects and talents. Lack of activity shouldn't be an issue. But we are coming up with plans for more activities
