If you cant already tell we are opening curator applications once again.

You might be wondering what is a curator and what do they do. If you dont know I'll explain real quick!

A curator is a chosen who has the power to hide profile, disable posts, disable chats. They are given a huge responsiblity to look after our lovely amino making sure it's safe!

With all this being said, it is very important you have time to do this and if you dont maybe wait next time and try to apply! If you do have time then this is the job for you! This isnt only a summer thing for you to do then leave!

Here are some requirements we ask before you actually do apply!

1)It is important you are a active member to the community. 500+ minutes (in the last 7 days) You will be asked to keep at least 500 minutes or more while a curator.

2)Make sure you are 14+ years old. This is due to mature content you will need to deal with. We will NOT accept anyone younger.

Due to many being eligible but not the right age we have chose to lower the age requirement by a year! But please be wary of mature content that will appear!

3) Please make sure you are ready for this commitment! This is an important job for you guys to do.

4)We are looking for Professionalism. This is a job that consists of being mature and handling mature situations.

5)Communication is needed. If you're not willing to communicate with all of us then please dont apply!

Scenarios

1.

You are the only one online. There has been a small swarm of trolls that have just entered the community. 1 is spamming the feed and the other spamming chats with innapropriate content. What is your course of action?

2.

You have disabled a post for being considered spam. They are not happy, and are starting to harass you and call you names. How do you handle the situation?

3.

You are moderating a chat/post, and you see an altercation between 2 or more . What's your course of action?

4.

A member is asking for your help with a situation in their PMs about someone asking sexual/innapropriate things and or sending them. They have evidence to their claim. What do you do?

5.

What would you do if you had a fight with another curator?

6.

What would you do if you had a fight with a leader?

7.

What would you do if a member has been posting about sensitive topics, such as suicide, or depression?

8.

You get a report a member of staff is abusing their power how would you approach this situation

9.

You see a chat/post with people saying negative things about staff/a certain staff member what do you do?

10.

You see a curator leaking information to a member. What do you do?

To apply you must have present it in a blog with the questions/situations I stated above.

Include #NewCurators in your post! You must get the hashtag right otherwise staff wont be able to view it later on in the week!

Message to current staff : We dont allow more than 2 teams per member so if you are in 2 teams currently be prepared to be asked to leave one of the teams if you make it onto trials!
