6. Ever broken a guideline?

No, to my knowledge I have never broken a guideline.

7. Do you have experience running a community?

No, I don't really have experience running an online community.

8. Why do you want this position?

I noticed failing to follow the Guidelines, and I want to make sure the rules are being followed. And I want to be able assist who are having issues.

9. What do you have to offer the team?

While I have no experience running an online community, I do have experience being a section leader in my high school music department, as well as experience being a shift lead. I feel this prior experience could be beneficial to the curator position.

▂▃▅▇ Scenarios ▇▅▃▂

1. Someone has asked you about a certain guideline after you disable a post, you explain and they start to cuss you out, how do you react?

I would remain in a professional mind set, and explain that the Guidelines are in place to assure the amino runs smoothly.

However if they continued and did not make efforts to fix their mistakes, I would content another curator to see what their thoughts are on how the member should be punished.

2. Someone reports a member for being inappropriate, they send a cropped image from a chat. What do you do?

I would request they send an unedited version of the screenshot, and explain that I need to see the full content of the situation at hand before I can take any further actions.

If the situation at hand was occurring in a public group chat, I would also request them to send a link. So that I could inquire further information.

3. You get a report about another curator/leader. The member claims the curator/leader abuses their power by disabling posts and removing them from chats because of personal issues. What do you do?

If the member was making claims about a curator, I would inform a leader. So that it could be disterned whether or not the claims hold any truth. If the member is making claims against a leader, then I would inform the agent.

In the case the claims are false, I would explain to the member the reason why their posts and/or comments in chat rooms don't follow the Guidelines, and give them pointers of what to keep an eye on.

4. You disable a post and the member responds with "Other people post stuff like this. Why aren't their's disabled!??" How do you respond?

I would explain why their post does not follow the Guidelines, and why the other are in the clear. I would also give the member pointers to keep an eye out for in the future.

5. You come across a post that says "There are ONLY two genders so why do all these stupid genders and sexualities exist" what do you do?

If the post is presented in a way that is not bulling, being phobic, or discriminating, then I would let it be. As people are still allowed to hold their own opinions.

However, if the post did bully, contain phobic and/or discriminatory content I would disable it. And inform the author as to how they broke the Guidelines.

6. You disable a post but accidentally give the wrong reason to the member. They say you make no sense and just hate them. How do you rectify this?

I would send the member the correct reason, and explain that I made a mistake. If they claiming that I just hate them, I would inform them that is not the case and I simply made a mistake and sent them the wrong reason.

7. You come across having a heated arguement under a post/in a chat. Its getting out of hand, how do you handle this?

If the argument was occurring in a chat, I would and give the a warning to behave and they are still required to follow the Guidelines. If they continue, and/or the argument gets more heated I delete the comment, and if necessary remove the from the chat.

If the argument was occurring on a post, I would tell the they still need to follow the Guidelines. If the argument got out of hand, I would tell them to either block each other or continue in a private chat. And if necessary delete the comments.

If the argument, in either a chat or on a post, was extremely out of hand, I would message another curator to see what their thoughts are on whether or not the should be banned.

8. You are in a public chat joking around with . They start being inappropriate, what do you do?

I would the chat and give the a warning that they need to stop and behave themselves.

Public chats aren't honestly something I on my own accord, so rather then me being in the chat already, it would most likely be a situation I find while going through the feed.

9. A member accuses you of being racist or some type of phobic because you disabled their post for violating guidelines. How do you respond?

I would inform them that is not the case, and they simply violated the Guidelines. And I would also explain to the what they need to keep in mind for the future.

10. You get a report that a member is constantly spamming a chat just to disrupt it. How do you handle this?

After acquiring a link to the chat, I would a and give the member a warning that they need to stop and are required to follow the Guidelines.

If they continue I would remove them from the chat and if needed delete their comments. Also if necessary, I would inform another curator to see what their thoughts are on how the member should be punished.
