Eternity Part 2

Eternity is indeed too long for me.

Why did I give up mortality to live for eternity?

I thought I wanted to..

I thought that was what you would do.

Eternity alone, because you left me alone.

You came and now I watch as you go.

Now I’m here all my own.

Until when? I’ll never know.

I thought I found my home with you.

But now I’m feeling very blue.

All alone, my phone never wakes me up with a text.

Everyone’s gone.. and you are next.

Eternity scared me once.

Eternity scared me twice.

It will scare me forever.

And fear isn’t all that nice.

You left me in the dark when you said you’d be light.

My future isn’t looking too bright.

Eternity scared me again. Because now I’m alone, alone again.

Alone without any friends.

Eternity is long, too long.

Who would want to spend an eternity here without you

Even when the world is in shambles and everything’s wrong

You’re still the person I once knew

Eternity sounds like hell.. because it’s not with you.
