hi I'm hayden, I live in England uuhh I have been in and out of the staff teams (feature, security and editors) for over a year now and have helped out to the best of my ability every time. for strengths I would say i have had lots of experience working with staff so I know the rules and the way it works and the commitment needed. I am hard working and will always do my best and handle stuff with respect while also being professional and never mixing professional with personal. my biggest weaknesses are probably my forgetfulness where I can forget to do certain tasks unless reminded and I wear my heart on my sleeve and behind the scenes can get incredibly emotional but won't show it in front of others.

2) Why you'd like to be a curator and what you can offer to the team and makes you different from others? Why should we choose you?

to put it simply i miss it, i miss being part of curatorship and helping out, I miss working as a team and being able to help others the best I can. it brought me so much joy being able to work alongside people who have become friends and was heartbroken when I left, I knew I was unable to fully put in the work at the time so I left under good . in of what I can offer is experience, I believe I was an okay curator and now I am ready I believe I have what it takes to help and make the community is secure and happy. As to why I suppose I would like to be given another chance, to show I can do well.

3) Do you have any prior leader or curator experiences?

i do! I was a curator in this community but left for reasons

4) Have you ever broken a community guideline? If yes, explain briefly.

not really, I got a warning like uh 3 years ago for a fast moving pfp but never again since.

Scenarios

╰─➤   1) You are the only one online. There has been a small swarm of trolls that have just entered the community. One is spamming the feed and the other spamming chats with innapropriate content. What is your course of action?

I would put a message in the curator chat to keep an eye out, hide their profile, then alternate between the chats and feed. Hopefully once been addressed in the chats the co hosts and hosts can take over moderating their chats and I can focus primarily on the feed until a leader is online and can deal with content appropriately.

╰─➤   2) You have disabled a post for being considered as spam. They are not happy and are starting to harass you and call you names. How do you handle the situation?

I will inform them that I am only implying the rules of the community and if they don't agree then they should discuss with a leader in further detail. I would then stop replying and remain professional and report them to leadership under harassment.

╰─➤ 3) You are moderating a chat/post, and you see an altercation between 2 or more . What's your course of action?

for a chat : I would tell them to leave it for the dms and if they ignore i will remove them and give them time to calm down and depending on the wording I may have to mod the messages to prevent distress from others.

for a post/the comments : I would delete and watch the comments section and screen shot and delete the comments to prevent making anyone who may be reading it uncomfortable. Depending on what was said I may report for bullying it honestly depends on what the conversation was about but yeah I would follow appropriately.I may also the author and give a suggestion of turning off the comments to their post until further notice.

╰─➤ 4) A member is asking for your help with a situation in their PMs about someone asking innapropriate things. They have evidence to their claim. What do you do?

I would gather the evidence as long as it is uncropped and forward it to leadership along with hiding the persons profile till a leader can take action.

╰─➤ 5) What would you do if you had a fight with another curator?

work and personal matters are different. in the past I have had altercations with other staff and know that you don't have to like someone to work with them. as long as you can put your issues aside for the benefit of the community there is no problem. to put it simply I wouldn't let it effect the curator role.

╰─➤ 6) What would you do if you had a fight with a leader?

the same answer as the previous one really, you don't have to like someone to work with them. you have to remind yourself that there is a common goal of making the community better for everyone and try and see things from their perspective even if you don't understand or like it.

╰─➤ 7) What would you do if a member has been posting about sensitive, triggering topics?

mod all of the triggering content and report it to a leader that would be okay with said trigger to get the situation handled quickly and efficiently.

╰─➤ 8) You get a report about member of staff abusing their power. How would you approach this situation?

it is not my place to decide the outcome, I would forward it to leadership and let them handle the situation and stay out of it.

╰─➤ 9) You see a chat/post with people saying negative things about staff/a certain staff member, do you do?

i would mod the post and chats and explain if they have a problem with someone they should report it officially to leadership if truly intending to get the situation sorted. if they just want to create drama then I would report to leadership and moderate all hate.

╰─➤ 10) You see a curator leaking sensitive information to a member. What do you do?

immediately report to leadership and let them handle it, it is not my place to butt in and would be only escalating the situation by having a conversation with said curator/member.⠀⠀⠀
