Fun fact:

Some cheeses, like parmesan, aren't vegetarian. It's because many producers use a thing called rennet, better known as cow stomach enzymes. Therefore, it is technically not considered vegetarian.

Many people and places still consider it vegetarian but it's all up to interpretation.
