Hello everyone, and welcome to this weeks

Interview Segment, where we get to know our

community a little better!

This is your head journalist Nate, and I went

around the community asking this

question:

What's your favourite memory and why?

Let's take a look at the answers from some of

our !

────── 〔✿〕──────

« My favorite memory is when I met a girl from

Nagaland, India, and fell in love with her. She is

so gorgeous. She was a gc host before, then I

got curious about her and asked about her

social media. We talked in a private chat on

Amino before. Then we started to do video

calls to show daily life, like sleeping, eating,

arguing, being angry or jealous, laughing, and

smiling again. I'm so in love with her after I

closed my heart for a year, and I wish I could

meet her one day. »

123

──────────────────────────

« It was back in 2017 when I was 16 years old,

I was working the whole day and I was having

a fast (as Ramadan was going on), so we

couldn't eat or drink anything until the evening

prayer. As my work was over, I went off to my

room, and it was time for evening prayer and to

break my fast. I bought 2 bananas and a water

bottle just to break my fast and thought while

reaching my room I'd order something good.

I sat on a bus stop, and two small girls were

near the bus stop. Their clothes were dirty, their

skin was dark, and they were very thin. They

were looking at me and the bananas, so I stood

up and gave them both a banana, even getting

some snacks for them. »

Jennie

──────────────────────────

« My favorite memory so far is from a few

weeks ago when I went out with a friend to play

mini golf & I wore a skirt & tights in public for

the first time ever »

Maddie Mayham

I'd like to thank everyone that was interviewed

for their lovely answers.

If you are reading this and would like to share

your answer to this week's question, feel free

to leave a comment!

That's all I have for you this week. I hope to

see you again next Sunday and wish you all a

great week!

Hello! I’m Daffy, Welcome to

my part of the chronicles!

Hope you enjoy!

┖                                                  ┙

In the Territories of Montana and Wyoming,

Yellowstone National Park was created

by an act of Congress on March 1, 1872,

which designated it "as a public park or

pleasuring-ground for the benefit and

enjoyment of the people" and placed

it "under the exclusive control of the

Secretary of the Interior." A global push

to create national parks was launched

with the creation of Yellowstone National

Park. Approximately 1,200 national parks

or comparable preserves can be found in

more than 100 countries today.

The United States authorized more national

parks and monuments in the years after

Yellowstone's creation, many of them

carved out of federal property in the West.

While other monuments and natural and

historical places were under the

management of the War Department and

the Forest Service of the Department

of Agriculture, these were also managed

by the Department of the Interior. The

many federal parklands were managed

by multiple organizations.

A new federal agency within the

Department of the Interior, the National

Park Service was established on August

25, 1916, with President Woodrow Wilson’s

signature. Its job was to protect the 35

national parks and monuments that the

department was managing at the time as

well as those that had not yet been

established.

56 national monuments and military sites

were transferred to the National Park

Service from the Forest Service and the

War Department in 1933 by Executive

Order. This action was a crucial step in

creating the system of parks we have today,

a system that encomes places with

historical, aesthetic, and scientific value.

More than 400 locations totaling more

than 84 million acres are now part of the

United States’ National Park System, which

also includes the District of Columbia,

American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico,

Saipan, and the Virgin Islands. According

to several acts of Congress, certain sites

are of such national importance that

they receive special recognition and

protection.

More than 20,000 National Park Service

workers now look after America's 400+

national parks and collaborate with local

governments across the country to help

preserve regional history and develop

local tourist possibilities.

and today I'll be talking ab-

                               out the 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘂𝗺𝘀.

Let's get started!! ♡

⊹      ˖          ˖      ⊹       ˖          ˖     ⊹

Definition :scroll:

First, what is our current definition of museums?

The word "museum" descends from the Greek

word "mouseion", which means "seat of the

muses". It used to be restricted to mainly places

of philosophical discussion. Then in the 15th

century the word "museum" was used in Europe

to describe the collection of Lorenzo de’ Medici

and by the 17th century it was generally used

to describe collections of curiosities.

During the 19th and most of the 20th century,

museums were known under the definition as

"a building housing cultural material to which

the public had access". As time ed, the

emphasis on it having to be a building became

less important and the focus shifted to solely

the objects. Examples for this would be

open-air-museums or later on also virtual

museums on the internet.

⊹ㅤ . ㅤ°   ˒

Early stages :scroll:

Before museums were understood as a place

available for viewing by the general public,

they were private collections. These collections

were only available for narrow circle of selected

people and displayed rare and interesting

artifacts or natural objects. They were also known

as "cabinets of curiosities" or "wonder rooms".

Then in the Renaissance, museums began

opening for the public in Italy, with most

important museums following around the

18th century.

⊹ㅤ . ㅤ°   ˒

First museum :scroll:

The first public museum known to the world

was build around 2500 years ago by a

Babylonian princess. It was known as

Ennigaldi-Nanna's museum and was devoted

to Mesopotamian antiquities.

In 1925 it was discovered by archaeologist

Leonard Wooley, while he was excavating

a Babylonian palace.

⊹ㅤ . ㅤ°   ˒

Museology & Museography :scroll:

With the increasing popularity of museums,

its study also developed a body of theory, which

is known as "museology". But the development

of this theory progressed very slowly, because

museum personnel had very little understanding

of museums as a whole, due to being experienced

in one specific discipline, regarding one specific

collection at a time.

Additional to this, the theory's practical

applications, which we know as "museography"

also didn't progress well. Not until other

organisations began to promote and help

develop museums, people stopped questioning

their purpose.

abandoned places are abandoned tunnels

and bunkers that are no longer used,

military installations of all kinds, industrial

ruins and commercial establishments, airfields,

sanatoriums, sanatoriums and clinics, manors

and mansions, hotels, railway facilities, etc. -

in summary, those places that are not developed

for tourism, the are not accessible to the general

public and which give the visitor the opportunity to

experience the prevailing, authentic, historical

atmosphere.

abandoned places are therefore those

places that are left to their fate today in the context

of their original use. visiting and entering these

places is often described as a flight from civilization

- because time seems to have stood still there.

abandoned places have their very own charm, each place

is different in its own way, none resembles the other.

because what you get to see there you won't find

in a museum. nothing was staged or assembled,

nothing was reworked or presented to a broad

audience according to certain specifications.

the longer a abandoned places has been forgotten,

the more facets of decay are presented to the viewer.

There are various kinds of ways service dogs can help someone who has ADHD. That said, ADHD is not a neurodevelopmental condition, it is not a physical disability or anxiety. So most people think that they would not qualify for a service dog. But I hope that this segment of the chronicles will help people become more aware of why service dogs are good for those with this disorder. Basically in the qualifications for getting a service dog as long as you have a disability that is severely impacting your way of life daily, in other words debilitating, you may be eligible.

In most cases ADHD is not debilitating, but for those who have ADHD mixed with something else it very well can be. If you do not seem to fit the requirements for getting a service dog you could also consider getting an emotional dog. I might go into that in a bit more detail in a different post. The reason why someone will radiation might prefer getting a service dog instead of an emotional animal is that the service animals are more likely to be accepted into different buildings emotional animals. Also service animals require a lot more training so they know how to retrieve medicines, how to stop people from getting a meltdown, how to find a child who has ADHD If the parents lost them, they can help us redirect to the task we were supposed to do, remind us to take our meds and eat. They even know how to notice when the child using the dog is having a self-harming stim and how to stop it.

Dogs are routine based animals, so they will come to you asking for a treat or something at the same time every day. So, if you train them to ask you for a treat at the time you take your meds, you will not forget. They also encourage some people with ADHD to get out in public more. Because they need to go for walks in the fresh air, I also don't like to go across busy streets alone. There are various reasons why I am worried about that, one of them is I am more likely to get run over in traffic then most people.

The requirements for the application to get a service dog is simple. Be at least 12 years of age or older unless it's for autism. Have a diagnosed physical disability, an anxiety disorder such as PTSD, debilitating chronic illness, or neurological disorder affecting at least one limb. Live in a stable living environment. Be cognitively and physically able to take care of your dog on your own, as well as partake in the dogs training, up to an hour each day. Be able to independently control, handle and command your dog. You must be able to provide your dog with all their physical, emotional, and financial needs.

some of the information I got is from a service dog website called US Service animals feel free to visit this website for more information.

Hello and welcome to my part of this weeks chronicles, let’s get into it.

𖥸┈┈┈𖥸┈┈┈𖥸┈┈┈𖥸

An amusement park is a park that features rides, entertainment, food and can sometimes be places for events and birthday parties

Amusement parks first made an appearance back in the 18th and 19th centuries, while parks have evolved to be safer and bigger since then the first mention of an amusement park was the Bartholomew Fair in England in 1133. But fairs weren’t as popular as I said until the early 18th century. These parks spread rapidly through out the years and it was pretty common to find some kind of park in most countries.

Some more popular ones today include:

Walt Disney world

Walt Disney land

Universal Orlando

Unity Park

Warner Bros movie world

And many more, and theirs not just amusement parks. Theirs also educational parks that are similar but have educational showings and such. Such as dinosaur land that shows familles how dinosaurs would have been in their natural setting, Busch gardens also offers families to see how they house animals and a variety of plants. The Puy du Fou is a park in that is themed around European and French history and has received several international prizes.
