My coming out story isn't exactly my coming out story, its just what i feel about the process of coming and the part we often miss.
Some of us find it easier to come out and be accepted, while others take a long time. The part that is probably the longest in everyone's journey is the one where you are coming out to yourself and accepting yourself for who you really are. Gender identitiies, if i may say so, usually tend to be more complicated than sexual identities, both in coming out to self and others. And that's probably because majority of the people around us and the world have made it convinient to see just black and white. Its either this or that, we are the rainbows. Its about seeing ourselves and knowing something within us does not confirm to whatever we are seeing all around us all the time and what everyone expects us to be. Its is about how we do not see or know about enough people like us. Thats why coming out is vso inportant. You could be the very strength that someone else needs without u even knowing it. The more we come out...the more normalised and accepted we become. Times.. they are a changing and we all hope to see a rainbow world someday.
