┊ So my resolutions are fairly simple             because I’ve made mistakes so many times before where I’ve put too much on my plate and sometimes it can be mentally exhausting and I don’t think it’s a healthy thing for me, it just makes me procrastinate more too, which is a big problem of mine. So this year I’ve made it a small goal to set five somewhat big things but break them down into small tasks in order to slowly introduce them and keep them sustainable.                                 ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

    1 ~ to find a new way to make moneh:

This is because I have a major spending problem and I’m in the process of getting out of it by spending my money slowly, if I’m getting consistent money flow, it’ll mean that the numbers keep going up and I’ll be financially stable whilst still buying things that I want. Also I’m always broke when it comes to buying gifts for people and it just pains me when I feel like I haven’t gotten my friends a good enough gift. Plus in general, to be financially stable is always a good thing to be, it’s just convenient and I’m getting older, I need to learn how to save my money.

Yes, I think I can do this and continue for a while, it’s going to be hard around my birthday because we are going to my favourite place in this ugly little country, Camden Town!! Literally the home of alternative clothing and cultural foods from all over the world, it’s gonna be ridiculously hard, and alternative clothing isn’t cheap.

I think I can keep this up for at least 3 months (till my bday)

   2 ~ to get a girl:

Well I’ve gotten out of a manipulative relationship a while back and it wasn’t fun, I feel like I’ve improved so much and learnt so much from it. I’ve worked on loving myself and I feel ready. My past relationships have taught me how to create a healthy relationship, I know now that setting boundaries and making intentions clear is so important for a healthy relationship. If there is miscommunication, it can lead to problems that are very easily avoided and if they really love you they will respect your boundaries and respect what you find invasive.

Yes it should be, I feel like it’ll be hard at times because I have BPD and sometimes I just can’t help but get angry at them for smol things but I think I have enough mental stability to be able to control my emotional impulses. I think I can keep this relationship healthy for as long as it lasts

   3 ~ to become fluent in Spanish and Japanese

I know that sounds like a lot but hear me out, I’ve been doing Spanish in school for 3 years, I’m close to being fluent. the only reason I haven’t soaked it up yet is because I haven’t really showed it much interest. Before I chose Spanish for GCSE, I was learning Japanese and I was getting far considering I actually enjoyed learning it and I would do it for fun, it was fun for me and so interesting and I’d love to continue learning it. But I’ve made a promise to myself to do it only when I become fluent in Spanish so that I can get it out of my way. Spanish is more important seeing as I have exams on it and it shouldn’t have taken me this long to learn. So once I become fluent in Spanish which will hopefully be soon, I can continue learning Japanese however I’m aware that i might not be fluent this year, but it can be a goal.

I don’t know, I can give it a try but I get pretty lazy when learning Spanish.

I’d say that I can keep up the extra studying for at least five months but hopefully Ill continue until I’m fluent

   4 ~ to step up my grades:

I think I’m doing well in school considering I came from a primary school bottom set at everything then being in top set in everything in secondary school, being in a class full of some of the most clever people In school. it was overwhelming and tiring and tbh I think in the test that determined the sets I had a fluke but the fact that my progress is so clear gives me inspiration to study, I used to study for 4 hours after school, just so that I could keep up with the rest of the class, I carried this on for 2 years, but recently I’ve gotten lazy because I’ve been doing so well and getting really high grades for a while now, but I don’t want to fall behind again, I think I no longer need to study for 4 hours, but in order to keep improving and growing I need to still study for at least an hour.

    5 ~ to make time for self-care

I used to do this, and I would do a weekly self care day where I would get time to myself, a day with no homework or stress, and after school I would have a bath, paint, sing, throw my duvet over my head and talk to the darkness, watch movies, or play guitar and make songs. just taking the time to do whatever I felt like without being surrounded with loud people or social media. It was such a healthy thing, and made me so happy, and my mental state was the highest it had ever been. I haven’t been doing it for a while and I’ve seen regression, so I feel like if I do this weekly again I can hopefully have more of a positive view on myself
