The Story of Mr Apple Tree

A tree was one day standing in the middle of the meadow. The tree had told the pear tree next to him, "I don't feel like an ordinary tree. I feel like an Apple Tree." The tree said, with a hint of sadness and obvious dysphoria in his voice. The pear tree simply rolled his eyes. "That is not possible, ordinary tree. You are how you were born. You cannot simply change your idendity." The pear tree said, making the ordinary tree feel sad. "Don't tell him that. He can be an apple tree if he wants." Miss Apple Tree said, in a sharp tone. She put an apple on the ordinary tree. "Don't let anyone tell you who you are. You are you and that is all that matters. You must be you." Miss Apple Tree said with a small smile. Ordinary tree smiled back and soon fell in love with Miss Apple Tree for her kindness. Soon Ordinary tree became Mr Apple Tree and Miss Apple Tree became Mrs Apple Tree. Pear Tree was still there to judge, but the other two did not find him a bother. Soon the two had adopted two small trees who grew up healthy and happy.

Turns out Mr Apple Tree was me. AceOfHearts is Mr Apple Tree. Only Miss Apple Tree did not love me back....that one stung a bit.
