Thoughts from Auckland

Ok so hi everyone! It's me again!

I'm sitting at a coffee store in Auckland, New Zealand, and seeing rainbow frames on a sign and immediately went, that's for pride right there. But even as I thought that I was conflicted. Surely that is not something that is true, that anything and everything to do with the rainbow is immediately considered part of the LGBT pride?

I mean, I understand why it is, and I understand that it's a great way to try and spread unity, but it is a bit strange, especially considering that I have just spent the last 18 hours here and most of the advertising signs are in similar colours.

 :yellow_heart: :green_heart: :blue_heart: :purple_heart:

Another thing I was taken a back by was the amount of people. Coming from a relatively large city into a massive city is strange, and it got me thinking of a few things.

A) For people in the LGBTQIA+ bracket, every 19 people that walk past you, on average, will also be part of the LGBT community.

B) For people outside of the community, it's only 10 people you have to walk past.

I live in a city that really doesn't have that many people, you walk down the street and 20 people if you are in the actual city centre. In Auckland, one of the first large cities I have been to, I've ed 100 people without walking all that far. It's scary.

Sorry, this isn't really an important blog, just thoughts that I have been having about the LGBT that I have been having in Auckland, but yeah, thanks everyone!
