[TW:SH, ADDICTION]

I thought the trigger warning was needed even though this poem never directly states it is about SH, it is about SH however. I am not ashamed to it. I also Listed addiction as I've shown it to people before and gotten that it was clearly about an addiction, it is, it's about an addiction to SH. Anyway I worry this poem could be triggering. I want to protect people!

ITCH

The itch inside of my mind,

Ah, it burns,

This continuous poison,

This invisible ache.

●

The itch,

I can’t scratch,

Inside, it grew,

Ah, how it grew.

Has grown,

From my urges,

My desires,

My torment.

●

God this itch,

It started in my brain,

It traveled,

It spread.

●

Infecting,

Poisoning,

Prospering,

Under my skin.

●

Tingling,

Festering,

Crewing,

Giggling at me.

●

This pest,

Unwelcome,

Feeble rat,

I want it gone.

●

I could relieve,

But itch would grow,

Ever spreading,

Invasive roots.

●

Pain,

Blood,

Release,

The things I crave.

●

The itch,

This beast,

Pleads to feed,

So it grows.

●

I refuse,

I will not feed,

Ah, the things I crave,

I cannot feed.

●

My prosperous guilt,

Friend of itch,

Infectious guilt,

Want me to suffer.

●

I cannot feed,

I wish for blood to trail,

I wish for pain,

Burning, suffering desire.

●

The eyes to pry,

The eyes on me,

Me skin ripples in shame,

The eyes to which guilt will feed.

Remorse,

Pity,

Shame,

Delicious pain.

●

I cannot feed,

Determination,

Listless determination,

I am destabilizing my resolve.

●

Listless determination,

Ever Flowing,

Listless pride,

In my dwindling resolve,

Crawling,

Inspiring,

Compulsion,

Pulsating veins.

●

Worms to be removed,

Tickling inside,

Itches children,

How they wish to be freed.
