The Great Barrier Reef
(Back in time)
The Great Barrier Reef is one of the seven wonders of the world.
It’s actually the only known living thing on Earth that can be seen visibly from Space!
It is the world’s largest coral reef system to date.
There are more than 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands.
When you think about it in of sheer size alone; That’s almost the full length of the United States; East Coast!
How could I not want to see something so spectacular?

What would you look for?
Specifically if I was going back into time when
The Great Barrier Reef was quite literally at its greatest;
(with no dead coral or damage after climate change and pollution)
I would look specifically for the areas that are now damaged so I could see what they originally used to look like. Before the corals began to bleach and die.
I have heard so many Amazing things about the Beauty of The Great Barrier Reef over the years as many Local Australians rallied together to try their best to save the reef over the years.
They say the Great Barrier Reef is the largest living structure on Earth. It spans over 2000km of islands and submerged reefs off the coast of NSW, Queensland, Australia.
I believe seeing areas how they were originally before the damage would be the most magical thing to experience.

What would you do?
I would take a camera that could go underwater and just spend an entire day documenting all the beautiful things I loved about the reef.
The many variants of colour, fish, corals etc. I would swim amongst all the different varieties of fish and take in the absolute sheer beauty of this wonder, knowing that the next day I would not ever see it in person like that ever again.
I'd take all the footage I could so I could share it's beauty with future generations one day in a 360° VR Experience.
Imagine being able to put on a pair of goggles and view the Great Barrier Reef as if you were right there swimming along with me. How entirely magical that would be?
The Great Barrier Reef is a National treasure.
To be able to share that with anyone no matter your ability to swim or not through Virtual Reality would be the nicest thing. It means you could visit it as often as you want no matter your capability and I think that's amazing just how far we have come in technology so I'd definetly use that time to try and make that possible.
