For The longest time I’ve always had hearing problems. Whether I miss what someone said in a conversation or I can’t understand lyrics in a song. I always end up missing something.

Of course sometimes you could play it off as like song was quite or the person didn’t talk long enough. But after it happening time and time again. It starts to get annoying.

Which leads to my biggest flaw, I’m too loud.

My friends always get annoyed with me because I have trouble whispering, or I just naturally get really loud. My whisper to them seems completely normal to them while a struggle to me.

I try not to be so loud but sometimes I can’t hear myself so I just gotta get loud.

We tested to see if I had actual hearing damage that the school tests weren’t picking up. But after spending an afternoon getting my hearing checked it was determined that my brain was the issue.

Apparently my brain can’t process noises the best and it all gets messed up. Which basically means that I’m screwed when it comes to not hearing and annoying my friends by being loud.

It might be ADD and I might be able to take medicine to help? I’m not 100% sure how it all works, but I do know that my flaw isn’t going to be fixed anytime soon.

I don’t think I’ll ever learn to necessarily love my flaws, mainly because they’re a pain. But I have learned to except them.

It was really shitty to find out it wasn’t an easy fix like getting hearing aids. But in the long run I think that’s a good thing.

Having minor hearing issues and having to tell people I can’t hear them or can’t understand them isn’t that bad. And most of my friends are used to my loudness and have excepted that it’s just how I am. Which, thank god.

Thanks everyone for reading and shout out to people who can’t hear people for shit.
