(This poem is about Jonah if you haven’t heard. While I never personally knew him, though when me and him talked, I always felt like he was someone I could trust. I ired him deeply, even when I was scared to talk to him. I looked up to him as a curator and a foe.) With all being said, here it is.
They said how you would smile
so bright when someone you loved
would make you laugh.
While behind that smile,
there was the Kindest person
who everyone loved.
You told me that time,
how you were always here if
I needed to talk. Maybe I should have taken
that offer from you, maybe if I had.
I would have gotten to know you better,
But when talking to you,
even with just the littlest conversation.
You didn’t have to guess that you
were a great person on the inside.
You always had a peaceful and lovable presence.
I looked up to you, Maybe I should
have spoken up when you started
a conversation with me.
I wanted to thank you for being a great leader
and a person I knew I can trust.
I just didn’t have enough time to tell you,
I wish I got that time back.
You were An amazing person to
ire Jonah, so thank you.
You’ll be missed yet not forgotten.
You’ll be Cherished yet not rusted.
And lastly you’ll be thanked yet not dull.
-From, Eric. (Thank you Jonah for giving memories for the others and myself, and thank you once again for letting us know you.)
