Heyy I hope you're doing well!
I've been playing the violin for a month (omg already?) and I wanted to show you how I play the Minuet in G major, after 1 week of practice
I knooow sometimes the sound is HORRIBLE lol and I don't use my arm very well... But I'm working on it!
Also, please give me your (real) thoughts on my violin playing so I can improve

Wow! That was great! Self Taught?
Thanks! Yep, I'm self-taught now but I'm starting lessons in September
Ahhh I can’t believe you’ve been playing for only one month! Wow! Your left hand is really good and the notes you’re playing are really clear! :D something that may help with your right arm is keeping the upper half of your arm still while only moving your forearm. I used to put my shoulder against a wall and just practice moving my forearm back and forth to get used to the motion. I agree w the other two people who commented as well, just try to stay relaxed :) You’re doin amazing girl!!!
Thank you so muuuch! Thanks for your advice, I'll do that! :relaxed:
you sound amazing for one month of playing!! I agree with Khulash, and I think that you could work on loosening up you wrist when you move your bow from one end to the other end. Try to keep your bow straight and your arm totally loose.
Yayaya you sound great! You’ve improved every time I hear you lol
Thanks a lot! I'm working on it haha
Sound very nice! Im not a violinist so I cannot give you constructive but I think that your right arm is very tense and you could try to relax it.
Thank you! And yes, it is tense ! :joy:
