Maki and Asuka are the main designers for the lolita brand, Angelic Pretty. Maki started working for Angelic Pretty in 2003 and is in charge of deg socks as well as choosing the base cloth and thread. Asuka started working in 2001 and designs shoes, bags, and parasols. The two are very known within the community, traveling around the world to many lolita events and tea parties.
