Hi Guys, I really hope you guys enjoy this one shot, it is the scene from TFATWS episode four, I have tried to focus on John‘s thoughts and anger.

Three Flag Smashers brandishing knives surrounded Walker whilst Bucky and Sam held their own against the other two. “What’s with all the knives?” John asked as he noticed Bucky knock one to the ground. Karli charged at him with a punch, John held the Star spangled shield to protect himself. “JOHN?” A familiar voice shouted. It was Hoskins, battlestar, John’s brother in arms running toward to defend him.

Karli with all her strength and will charged towards John once again, With the love for his Partner used a fuel, Lemar tackled Karli and threw her in the opposite direction but she just landed in a stable position, Lemar quickly gained his strength and got back up on his feet but it was too late. Karli struck him with a fierce anger fueled punch throwing him into a wall with a loud thump grasping everyone’s attention without a second thought. Lemar’s body lay lifeless against the wall, John’s heart dropped at the sight of his Partner hitting the wall, he rushed over to the body, “LEMAR..LEMAR?” He yelled, grief took hold of him as he tried waking his friend up to no avail.

The Flag Smashers, Sam and Bucky gazed at Walker and his deceased friend, Karli had left in a hurry as she knew she was now in immediate Danger. John’s cries slowly died down as he stood back up with a stare of pure anger plastered on his face, it wasn’t just anger, it was hatred. One by one the flag smashers left In a hurry, John turned his head towards a wall, picking the Shield back up and charging at the wall crashing through it and falling on top of a parked bus destroying its roof with a loud attention grabbing bang. John’s eyes fixed on one of the Flag Smashers fleeing, rage and anger flowed through his veins, getting revenge was now his mission it was more important to him than being Captain America.

Rage began to grow stronger within John, pushing him to chase the Flag smasher as if he was a predator hunting his soon to be prey and like a predator he wasn’t going to give up, it was his will to avenge Lemar. John kept chasing the flag smasher, avoiding every obstacle as if it was nothing, the serum enhanced his strength and reflexes so he destroyed anything thrown at him.

With one fast throw, the shield smacked against the flag smasher’s back sending them onto the floor, before they could get back on their feet the shield hit them a second yet more painful time. John approached them and forced his leg onto their chest pining then onto the ground, their fate was now pretty much sealed.

“IT WASN’T ME!” The flag smashed yelled, it was as if they were begging for their life.

John stood there, he felt dominant, powerful and in control of this person’s life, vengeance took over once again, no mercy just anger brutality and hatred, he rose his Shield as high as the heavens but it wasn’t going to stay there for long, the shield came down swift and hard, over and over, a life taken by the shield of hope, hope now stained with blood and brutality.

A crowd gathered around the dark scene like a flock of vultures waiting for a meal, John stood there high and proud of what he had just committed. He seemed to be proud for that moment but soon reality would take hold once again. The crowd began to take photos, soon the world would know what he had just committed. He held his head, the pain of losing Lemar hit him like a train, he failed as Captain America, he failed as a friend but most importantly he failed as a brother..

Was it really worth all of this?
