Important Dates

For every episode of FNSM that comes out, there will be a spoiler ban of 1 week. That means anything containing spoilers of that episode will be disabled or hidden until the next episode comes out.

What Counts As A Spoiler

To ensure that no one can accidentally be spoiled, anything about Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man cannot be included in:

- The first five lines of a post

- names

- Profile themes*

- The first three lines of a bio

- Chat or post titles

- Any form of post cover*

- Other direct content (in art/edits/etc w/o a warning)

*= This means any screen caps taken from the movie, with the exclusion of any promo pictures/ pictures from trailers/anything pre-released prior to the episode/show in general.

These are all in place to make sure no one's experience of the show is ruined. All of these will be lifted once the spoiler bans for the episode is, but we do ask you keep in mind that some people might see the show later and to be mindful when talking about the episodes publicly!

Proper Spoiler Warnings

Including Spoiler warnings only applies for posts and bios! There are two different types of spoilers listed ahead

** It is highly recommended to put "SPOILERS AHEAD" or any variation of this in titles for either types of spoiler.

1. Spoilers Via Images

If you are making art, edits or any other form of image content that'll contain anything from Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, make sure to make cover images that'll hide the content with a warning, so people know beforehand. All you have to do is add in a cover that's something like this:

Don’t worry, yours doesn't have to look exactly mine. Anything with a warning that covers up your material so no one sees it scrolling through the feed works!

2.Spoilers Via Text

the first five lines of a blog are visible to while scrolling! So, they should be concealed if you choose to make posts that mention anything throughout the last episode. You can put something like this (Again, it doesn’t have to look exactly like mine! Just as long as it warns and hides the first 5 lines, it’s good to go!):

How To Report Spoilers

This part is easy! We do not tolerate any spoilers during the ban period so if you see someone/a troll spoiling the series, we heavily encourage you to report them to a Staff Member! Either privately or through the Staff Center Chat.

Extra

If you do want to chat freely about the series during the ban period, we have the Official TV Show Spoiler Chat. This doesn’t apply to other chats, please avoid spoiling in public chats as not everyone would have seen the show.
