Thanks to my cousin for the motivation

This is a small and possibly long series of different OCs & cannons with their soulmate.

For each chapter it will either be in an alternative mcu where everything is the same but everyone has a soulmate that shares a red string

or

will take place in another marvel universe with a different connection with soulmate and that will be more for random writing

Somewhere in a house in London, there is a surgeon and detective taking one on one about last year's event. The one that changed everyone's lives. These two women aren't just what the world says though, a surgeon that is also a sorcerer and a detective that is a frost giant. One in which kids dream to be and the other brings nightmare just with its name. Together detective Sofie and surgeon Alice work to know everything that happened.

" So this buff and purple Patrick Star-"

" Thanos. "

" Whatever, Thanos. He stole these all mighy and powerful stones and the footage my team found from Stark lab and Wakanda is of him taking one of those stones from your uncle who was a wizard guardian of a stone to save what looked to be Tony Stark and later came to earth take another stone that was apart of an advance android in Wakanda. That stone was the last one he need so he snapped and thats what caused my soulma- I mean people to what you say, 'die'." All explained from the found footage by none other than one of the world's best detective, Sofie.

Across from her was Alice, her current partner in this whole event. Both have spent enough time on this and jokes around enough to be what Alice calls ' almost there friends '. The two drank their tea in a mini toast, they had almost the whole thing solved on each stone, but they dont know of Gamora's death or the collector yet. As they finish their tea the two high five and wait for the cups to refill on their own.

" You know I don't intend on seeing my soulmate for a while so tell me yours. All I know is that he fell victim to the snap." Alice ask as she looks at Sofie's pinky. Just as she asked that she took another sip of tea only to spray it all over Alice who was not amused.

As Alice made a spell to clean her off, Sofie repeatedly apologize about it. " I've just been avoided the whole thing with him for so long now, I don't know I just try to leave it all." Her bubby face grew long and sad, a rare sight to see when you know her. Alice has always wondered what a string would look like if a soulmate dies and its not pretty. You see, no one else can see your string its for only you and your soulmate can see. In rare case, other people can see your string if you have one but leads to no soulmate and in that case someone in the same boat as you can pick the string up and connect it to their own broken one.

" You haven't told anyone.. Well then tell me some stories. Better to hear completed ones then to solve them. " Alice told and got up to sit next to Sofie and poof them into pjs and had the neated pillows and blankets over the room like Sofie's and Sully's random sleepovers they would have as kids. Sofie's face lifted a bit that Alice just did all that, she is more know to be reserved, arrogant, and controlling oh wait that last one is exactly what she is doing.

Sofie looked at her pinky, the snapped off string is all she has left of her soulmate. The string was loosen and rough, instead of a bright and lively red it was dark with a drepress vibe. Then she looked up at Alice, she knew the girl would get it out of her either way and she need to tell someone about it eventually. " If you don't start talking I'll put Heartbreak Hotel on till you know every word. I've heard it the one time I listen to the radio. " Ok, while Sofie has never heard that song she refuses to take a risk to let that threat happen.

" When I was born, my string had an end but my twin didn't. We didn't know why! I was three years old and he was six at the time when we first meet. "

《 Flash back 》

3 year old twins, Sully and Sofie, ran to the playground across from their rented apartment in Wisconsin with their Dad watching at a safe distance. Every day that they go to that same play ground to play with the many other toddlers and kids but there is one kid that is always there. Six year old Jason with missing front tooth and an end string. Sofie and Jason had those cute kid crushes and because they both had end strings they connect them both and a year of living there Sofie and Sully moved away. Jason made a promis to find her again one day a marry her!

《 Flash ends 》

" You that he was missing a tooth? That's sad." Alice comments with a smirk on her face, never a good sign. It make Sofie a littler hurt but made it over dramatic with a loud gasp and that " how dare you?" Sentence and face. " Then when was the next time you meet?" Sofie asked if she re her ever mentioning that she was 2 grade levels above and Alice said yes. " You both were in the same class or high school the next time you meet I'm guessing." The girl gusses aloud to then take a sip of her tea, Sofie nodded and "yup" in confirmming her guess right.

" He made it awkward though. I walked in on him kissing a random chick after we were released on graduation day so me being me I didn't believe him when he said she kissed him. I broke the string but when I left the strings connected on its own. I ran into him years later when our job intertwine and made us partners on a raising kingpin in Washington."

《 Flash back 》

" And now that the assignment and team is clear, the leaders in charge are Detective Lucy Sullivan and Agent 09. They wish to be called Detective Sofie and Agent Jason and or Powers. Location and time along with additional information will be sent to you in your mail boxes tommorow. Oh and happy 21st Miss Lucy. Dismissed!" An official from SHIELD said as all left room, however there were two people left. Sofie and Jason...

" Hey there.. So have you gone to any playgrounds? Maybe beg an ice cream to stop? Your name wasn't Lucky Lucy for nothin'." Jason nervously flirt as he walked closer to Sofie who's eyes were full of shock as they peered in his. " One playground day you get to explain yourself or I get to cut it again." She said as the string pulled both hands together to hold tight. Jason smiled bright, " Hey, my whole life and time is happier with you. And if you don't want me know... Just know that I'll be waiting here for you."

Bonus:

" That sound like something Ed Sheeran would sing." Alice declared and made a gagging sound." Yeah? Well you you.. You are a song he would sing!!" What a failed insult, try harder Sofie. " Why thank you. " and with that remark Sofie grabbed a pillow and with a bit her frost giant's strength, hit Alice hard enough to make her spill tea on herself. It was very funny at first but then Sofie realized what she just did, " Oh shit."
