I was scrolling through TikTok as half of my TikToks are full of marvel stuff and I saw a TikTok talking about 90% percent of the marvel cast are problematic and I was wondering if Sebastian Stan is problematic. Sebastian Stan is one of my favourite actors and I’m scared that I don’t want lose my love for his acting and looks. I already know that RDJ and Mark Ruffalo have a bit of a problematic past but they are still my favourite actors and I’m worried that Sebastian will be on that list of actors that I like but they were problematic.

Sometimes you don't need to meet your heroes to be disappointed. Off the screen, actors and actresses can be behave differently, as well as do things that are wrong.
A lot of the individuals I looked up to ended up doing things I would've never thought they'd do. Regardless, it doesn't change the fact that I still love the characters they bring on the screen, even though they choose to act differently beyond their roles (doesn't mean I endorse what they do).

Okay firstly the thing his girlfriend was doing wasn’t even racist- she was just dressing in the outfits of the culture and most people of said culture didn’t find it offensive.

Also how are we supposed to even know if these are offensive if the people who are the ones talked about ( ex:Buddhists. ) don’t even find it offensive? I don’t think it would be offensive then but I’m not Buddhist so I probably can’t comment on it.

I didn't comment on it either, I just linked the thread. Also, his girlfriend purposely making her skin darker just to dress up like the culture does seem a bit racist. However, I'm not gonna make anymore comments on that. I'm bashing him or anything if that's what your thinking. Like I said before, never cared about him or liked him before all this came out. All I did was make a comment and linked a tweet.
