quick author's note; i've been hearing a lot about the wandavision spinoff 'agatha' holding place for marvel's first confirmed major same sex couple. it's rumored to be between agatha and rio vidal; an MCU original character. I am sick and tired of these delays for the show and ive been just toying around with my own version of a wandavision spinoff; that's what this is! it follows the same line of Agatha breaking free of Wanda's curse. in the show rio vidal will fist fight with Agatha Harkness, a scene was leaked where we see this in the bts teaser, so I incorporated that! enjoy, trust that there will be much more to come.

Day I.  —  RIO VIDAL

Wanda’s breath hitched. In her gut, she could feel the presence of someone else. Quickly the ginger turned, and just as soon, found herself slammed against a wall by powerful magic.

The ginger coughed as her limp body made harsh with the cold ground. With what strength she could muster up, she lifted her head, and she saw a flash of the woman’s face. She was standing over her with a smirk, before she flicked her wrist, and out lit a hint of green. Soon Wanda faded away, now lost in darkness.

“Ri, She’s up” was the first thing Wanda Maximoff heard. Slowly her eyes fluttered open, closing simultaneously. In a pattern they did this for a few seconds, until she was finally able to keep them from shutting.

Her eyes scanned everything they could. She took note of the young looking guy to her left. He had black curly hair, and he seemed almost scared. He was the one who had spoken, and now he was staring at her with eyes of what Wanda thought could be sorrow. She searched for more, observing where she was. She seemed to be in the woods, the man sat on a stool which rested by a tent. A camp? Why would someone have taken her to a camp?

“Thanks, Wicc. Go get Aggie” sounded a raspy, but more feminine voice. Wanda assumed this was the woman who had surprise — attacked her. She must’ve been a witch, a witch different than she knew. Suddenly the ginger’s mind flushed back to the glint of green she saw when the woman subdued her. A green witch? And what was that about ‘Aggie’? She didn’t mean.. She couldn’t..

“Oh, stop overanalyzing who I am! Your ignorance burns my mind.” said the voice, and soon, the woman who wielded it stepped into The Scarlet Witch’s eyesight. She was pretty, with straight black hair and hungry, wild eyes. She refused to speak, unaware of what might happen.

“Ugh, it’s people like you who make me regret my decision to embrace this power,” she started, throwing her hands up in annoyance, “Come on, just because I threw you against a wall doesn’t mean I’m evil — I don’t bite.” She smirked with the last line, crouching down to where Wanda was, on the flat bottom of a tent. The witch bit her lip and whispered a simple “Unless you want me to.” into Wanda’s ear. The redhead flinched away from these words, her eyes flaring red as she attempted to fling the other woman into the nearest tree.

“Oh great, She hasn’t learned a thing” announced another woman, as her finger illuminated the points of runes that were on the corners of the tent. This was not just any woman, this was HER. The woman she battled, the woman she trapped in a persona. It was Agatha Harkness, who else would have been involved in her kidnapping? “Rio, dear, leave our poor guest alone.”

Although with hesitation, ‘Rio’ pulled back, not before chomping her teeth at Wanda and cackling when she flinched again. The woman stood back up and made her way to Agatha, staring her down as if she were a rival. Agatha rolled her eyes and Rio stood beside her, arm interlinking with the older woman’s.

Wanda finally spoke. “Agatha – how in the world did you get out of Westview?” This caused a laugh to leave Vidal’s lips, as her eyes then lit with green.

Agatha was in a robe, she was disheveled and manic. Trying to make sense of how she came to her newfound freedom from Wanda’s spell, she searched for anything to help her understand.

“Aggie, Aggie, Aggie. Forgot our promise, have you?” echoed Rio’s voice. Agatha stopped in her franticity and took a deep breath in, before sighing and rolling her eyes. “It’s you, of course it’s you.” She wasn’t excited to know it was her almost ex-fiance who had to pull her out of her persona. Given, of course, that Rio was one of the most powerful beings in the world, (even more powerful than Agatha), it wasn’t a surprise.

A flash of green smoke appeared, and with it came Rio Vidal. She was ‘The Green Witch’, and she was powerful. Although just a flashback, Wanda could feel the power radiating from her.

“You left me. Not for weeks, not for months, FOR A YEAR.” Vidal’s tone was unforgiving and cruel. “Rio, honey, — I had no control over this. Don’t be foolish” Agatha stated, leaning against the wall of the home she had remained trapped in.

“YOU DIDN’T EVEN TELL ME YOU WERE LEAVING!” It was a scream, not a yell, and it blared through the room like an alarm. The raveness drew closer to Agatha and pulled her hand back to slap the woman. Agatha pushed her, placing her foot behind Rio’s, which ended in the green witch falling. Although not a stranger to non-magical combat, the woman grabbed hold of Agatha’s robe, pulling the witch down with her. Agatha flipped her hair over her shoulder and spit on the younger woman, causing her to kick her leg over and flip the two of them, leaving Rio atop a heavy-breathing Agatha.

“Darling, forgive me?” the brunette pleaded as Rio’s hands trapped Agatha’s to the floor on each side of her head. Her dark hair came from being neatly tucked behind each ear, and she thought about Agatha’s apology for a moment. In the process she had weakend the hold on the brunette's wrists. No sooner was the woman beneath her grabbing her hair and pushing her off of herself. A smirk arose to both of the women’s faces as Agatha got up from the floor. Biting her lip, Rio did the same, quickly pulling her hand back and twisting it. Power emitted from her, throwing the violet witch into the kitchen and thrashing her into the kitchen table as Rio’s hand flattened and smacked down.

Agatha lay there, seemingly defeated, so Rio, who was breathing heavily, approached the still body. “Did I FINALLY kill you?” she asked in a scoff, pleased with their fight. Agatha was unamused, but still lay still, hoping Rio would buy it. “Come on baby, I can read your thoughts. Get up, I deserve a proper hello.”

With those words, Rio turned around and made her way to the door which led to the basement. Agatha simply huffed, picking herself up, and following. When she got down into the basement, she looked for Vidal. Not having her powers was surely disabling her in the moment. When she walked through the archway lined with vines, she saw her fiance standing next to the darkhold. Agatha had been unable to enter the basement ever since Wanda cursed her, but seeing her mentoric book really brought back some memories.

She noticed, however, that the witch had changed, possibly magicked herself into another outfit. This one was a leather jacket, and black leather pants. She wore heels, and only a bralette. Agatha smirked, unaware subconsciously she was being watched.

With a blink of an eye, and two puffs of green smoke, Rio was in front of Agatha. No sooner had their lips met that Wanda had been forced back into her reality. Her jaw was agape, and her eyes flushed to the interlocked arms of the two witches.

“You’re.. Oh..” she spoke under her breath. Wanda had no problem with it, she herself had been down that road once too, being in love with a woman and all. She just didn’t picture Agatha to be in a relationship, it didn’t really surprise her that she was into women. But Rio, Rio seemed crazy.

A chuckle came from the raveness, and the ginger was reminded that her thoughts were not her own. “Don’t worry, I know I’m crazy, isn’t it hot?” she questioned, biting her lip. Agatha shook her head and looked away from Wanda at her fiance’s self-revolved comment. She somehow always made everything about her, and somehow, insults became compliments to her. Even if it was one of the reasons Agatha enjoyed Rio’s company, it was annoying when other people were around.

Wanda struggled against the restraints that held her down, and Agatha made a ‘tsk tsk tsk’ sound in response. Removing herself from Rio’s hold, which resulted in holes being drilled by the woman’s eyes into her head, she approached Wanda. “So sister, when you stole my powers and trapped me in a fake persona?.. Yeah, well, I’m back, and I’m gonna need those powers —” Wanda sighed, she knew she couldn’t hold Agatha forever, but she hadn’t particularly expected to be kidnapped in order to return her powers. Wanda had no plans of returning them, however. “Preferably today, preferably now” added the green witch.

“I’m not giving you your power, you’d better just kill me now” Wanda affirmed, which gained her a crazy eyed stare from the woman’s fiance. Agatha simply looked down at her, and winked, “We aren’t going to kill you Wanda,” she was cut off by Rio, “We might —” Agatha threw her hands up, “Rio could you just shut up!” she asked, shaking her head and focusing back on Wanda. “We NEED you, Wanda. We want to unlock the secrets of the Darkhold. We need your help.” Wanda met Agatha’s eyes for the first time, and she felt like she was looking at a brand new witch. Unlocking the secrets of the Darkhold.. I mean really, who could that opportunity up?
