ISOLATE THE DEEP is an American metalcore band formed from Wichita Kansas in Summer of 2019.

The band consists of:

Reese Longhofer (Black Jacket) - Lead Guitar

Anthony Stofer (Red Jacket) - Bass

Anthony Coleman (Grey Jacket) - Drums

They are Currently in the works of their first album "RIP TIDE" soon to be released sometime in summer of 2020. #MAbandswiki

A BREIF HISTORY OF THE ISOLATION

The band started out when the band's bassist Anthony Stofer now referred to as Anthony(S) and lead guitarist Reese Longhofer met at a highschool talent show. Reese played the National Anthem and Anthony(S) played a Johnny Cash song for the show. Anthony(S) started talking to Reese and eventually scheduled a jam sesh.

"We started out playing 'Green Day' songs, and I started introducing Anthony(S) to some metalcore bands. He loved the sound and the agression, at the time he had never really listened to metal, so it was a brand new experience for him and he loved it!" - Reese Longhofer.

Anthony Coleman now referred to as Anthony(C) was Anthony(S)'s step brother. He played drums and they asked him if he wanted to be apart of the band, he agreed. They All started brainstorming on what kind of band they wanted to be, and they decided to be a metalcore band. They practiced covering metalcore songs, and eventually started making their own material. That's when the band decided to come up with a band name.

"We all love the ocean and the water" - Anthony(S).

"We wanted to describe the ocean in a very vivid way" - Reese Longhofer.

The band name

"ISOLATE THE DEEP" in their words -

"It describes the ocean as vast, dark, and isolated as to one's mind."

Later the band started recording music at Reese's dad's house.

"My dad had recording equipment and a macbook so we asked to use it, once we had finished some songs they actually sounded heavy as shit so we released them on youtube and were getting a good amount of views, that's how we started" - Reese Longhofer.
