Humans Glow In The Dark?

Did you know that humans actually glow in the dark?

It’s true, but the glow is so faint that our eyes can’t see it. Scientists in Japan discovered this using super sensitive cameras that can detect tiny amounts of light.

The light comes from natural chemical reactions happening in our bodies all the time, mostly from the way our cells process oxygen. This isn’t science fiction, it’s just not something we can notice without high-tech equipment.

This type of light is known as bioluminescence and it isn’t quite the same as what you see in fireflies or glowing jellyfish but it’s still there. It gets slightly stronger and weaker at different times of the day, peaking in the afternoon.

It’s not related to body heat (infrared light), but real visible light, just incredibly dim light. Some of it comes from free radicals interacting with our skin and cells, causing them to release tiny bursts of photons, which are basically little bits of light.

This makes you wonder if the human body naturally glows, could this be connected in some way to the concept of “auras” that people have talked about for centuries?

Auras

Auras are believed to be subtle energy fields that surround all living beings, often described as colored light or vibrations that reflect a person or animal’s emotional, physical or spiritual state.

The concept of auras originates from ancient spiritual traditions including Indian, Chinese and Egyptian philosophies, where energy centers like chakras and qi were fundamental concepts.

In these traditions, the aura is thought to be an extension of the life force or soul and some people claim to see or feel them as part of intuitive or psychic perception.

The belief in Indian Yogic philosophy that aura energy corresponds to the Chakra system has been around for centuries and Auras have long been read to help navigate and balance one’s Chakras.

While science hasn’t confirmed the existence of auras as described in metaphysical teachings, some researchers have suggested that electromagnetic fields from the body, or even faint biophotonic emissions, could be loosely related to these ancient ideas.

Maybe what some people claim to see or sense around others is a real thing, just not visible to most of us.

Could this faint bioluminescent glow be a scientific base for the ancient teachings and beliefs of auras or is it just coincidence?
