Solstice Power Surge: A Spell for Strength and Vigor

Purpose:

To harness the raw, vibrant energy of the summer solstice, fostering strength, vitality, and resilience.

Cast this spell during or near the summer solstice, ideally at noon, when the sun is at its most potent. While it is called a solstice spell, it can be done pretty any time during the summer when the sun is at its peak strength. Customize the ingredients and words to resonate with your personal beliefs and practices.

You will need:

A Yellow or Orange Stone or Crystal: (Citrine, Sunstone, Tiger's Eye) - Represents the sun's power.

A Summer Beverage: (Lemonade, Herbal Iced Tea) - Symbolizes refreshment and renewal.

A Comfortable Space: Outdoors, if possible, where you can feel the sun's warmth. If you need to work indoors, make sure you are near a window with the sun shining in so you can feel the warmth of the sun.

Candles (yellow, white or orange) and candle jars to keep breezes from blowing them out

Matches or a Lighter: For lighting the candle.

Preparation:

Set up your altar/workspace.

Place your crystal, herbs, beverage, and focus in front of you. Light any candles.

Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths and center yourself.

If you wish to do this as a ritual, set up your ritual space in your usual way. Use the spell as your ritual working, and then return your ritual area to mundane space when you finish.

Before you begin, practice reading your spell aloud so that they flow smoothly from your lips. You can choose to change or rewrite the words entirely to craft the spell to suit your needs.

Place your crystals near the candle. I prefer to use at least 3 crystals placed around the candle to amplify the power of your spell.

Invocation:

Raise your arms to the sky, feeling the sun's energy.

Chant the following invocation three times, letting your voice rise with each repetition:

Great Sun, Giver of Life and Light,

I call upon your radiant might!

Solstice's peak, your golden grace,

Fill me with power, in time and space!

Bless me with Strength and Vigor,

My spirit and body to trigger!

Light the candle, then hold your hands out with palms toward the candle. Take a few deep breaths to center yourself. Visualize the energy , see it surround you and fill you as you listen to the music.

Hold your crystal in your receiving hand, feeling its warmth. Close your eyes. Imagine the golden light of the sun flowing into the crystal, filling it with energy.

Visualize this energy then flowing from the crystal into your body, spreading throughout.

Imagine this golden light repairing and strengthening every cell in your body, banishing fatigue and weakness.

While holding the crystal, say the following words aloud:

By the sun's embrace, I claim my might,

Banishing shadows, embracing the light.

Let strength flow, through vein and bone,

Making my spirit and body one!

Weakness be gone, and vigor take hold,

A story of courage, bravely told!"

Closing the Spell:

Take a sip of your chosen beverage. Savor the taste and visualize it invigorating you.

Say these closing words three times:

The Solstice Surge is now complete,

My strength renewed, my victory sweet.

So mote it be!

Grounding:

Thank the sun for its energy and guidance.

Take a few more deep breaths, feeling the connection to the earth beneath your feet.

If outside, spend some time enjoying the sun, allowing your body to absorb its warmth.

After the Spell:

Continue to focus on cultivating strength and vigor in your daily life.

The crystal can be kept and carried or placed on an altar.

Trust your intuition. Listen to your body and adjust the spell as needed.
