A New Life | Post War Arc

After the war effort and almost the start of their second year of highschool, Naomi and Tenya had finally gotten together.

A year after being so dense and not realizing their obvious feelings for each other.

They decided to go on a little date before the new semester began... Tenya wanted to give a special gesture to his new girlfriend...

During the war Yuka, Naomi's half brother, had to botch cut his sister's hair in order to save her from the grips of their father, Julius's, hands. He had to ensure she wouldn't get caught, and that was the only way... This and the loss of her family's heirloom necklace (a gold heart shaped locket with the initial S imprinted on it) devastated Naomi. Her hair was a part of her and something she was proud of, but the loss of the locket hurt more as it contained the last photo of her mother and little brother before the tragic event that cost them their lives...

Knowing this information, Tenya asked his family and friends for any recommendations of quality chains and necklaces... Eventually spotting a round locket and custom imprinted the letter N on the center. He put a photo of all of class 1-A, hoping this would cheer his girl up even if just a little...

"With this, you can move forward... Maybe not forget what happened, but you're not tied to the hurtful past of your family... No longer Naomi White or Naomi Sallow... You are free now. The newest and greatest protection hero."

This was the moment Naomi realized she was finally home... Not in England, in Japan with her friends that became her family. Now she wasn't tied down by generational trauma or stuck as being known as a villain's daughter, or a secret experiment... She was finally free to be herself without fear.

She could finally start a new life...

I'm loving Naomi with short hair tbh, but do not fret... She does grow it back out!

Anyway, I was in the mood for Tenya x Naomi fluff and came up with this. Brainstorming with a friend about how this would go lmao. I love them sm :sob:

My baby boy is sooo underrated and it's legit sad tbh... But he gets all of my love!

But this takes place before their second year starts, everyone's recovered fine, some more than others... But y'know- this was just a quick little date for them to talk about everything that happened and get it all out on the table before the new year started...
