[Todoroki]: Boku no Hero Aca Radio, All Might Nippon.

[Asui]: Boku no Hero Aca Radio, All Might Nippon, kero

[Todoroki]: Good afternoon, everyone. I’m your host for today; Shoto Todoroki.

[Asui]: And I’m Tsuyu Asui, your co-host.

[Todoroki]: How are you today, Asui? Let’s start with a chat.

[Asui]: I’m doing pretty good, thanks for asking, kero. What about you, Todoroki?

[Todoroki]: I’m doing well myself, thankful. Nothing to worry too much about.

[Asui]: That’s good, I’m glad. Hey, I’m curious, do you think crime rate will go up, down, or stay the same during the holiday season?

[Todoroki]: Actually, I’m not sure. Maybe it’s a good time for the villains with so many people out, but it can also be risky. Maybe specific crimes will go up, like mugging and stealing.

[Todoroki]: What do you think?

[Asui]: I agree. I think more violent crimes will decrease for a little bit, while stealing and other crimes like that will escalate. I think we’ll run into a lot of people who don’t usually commit crimes stealing gifts to give to their family too.

[Todoroki]: Most definitely. Some people will go as far as they can for family, hm? It’s nice, but at the same time...a bit concerning.

[Asui]: Yeah, I feel like there’s a limit of “normal” when it comes to family, kero. I understand that wanting the best for them, but committing crimes is a little far.

[Todoroki]: Mhm. Crime is...bad, of course. Never forget that, listeners.

[Todoroki]: Anyways, why don’t we move along to the wheel spin.

[Asui]: Sounds good to me. Would you like to spin the wheel or should I?

[Todoroki]: You do the honors, Asui. Let’s see what we have today.

[Asui]: Alright, here we go, kero

[Asui]: The question today is, “What advice would you give to someone wanting to be a hero?”

[Asui]: I’ll let you answer first, Todoroki

[Todoroki]: Oh. Well, I think one thing to is to be...heroic. Not just in a stereotypical way, but be kind and careful with those you want to help. That’s what it is to be a hero, to be not only a good person, but to help people whenever you can without hesitation.

[Asui]: Yep, and to add on. You have to be willing to work hard. Becoming a hero won’t happen overnight, kero. Quirks can be dangerous, like Midoriya’s super strength quirk, or Thirteen’s black hole, so you have to train carefully in a way that helps yourself grow.

[Todoroki]: Absolutely. Be careful with how you use your quirk as well, because like Asui said, they can be dangerous. Always be aware of how you approach situations.

[Asui]: I think it’s good also to know exactly how your quirk works. If you have a water quirk, you may think that you just have the power to produce water from your body, but in reality you have the power to press together water molecules in the air. If you’re fighting somewhere dry without knowing you can only use your quirk with water molecules around you, that could end pretty bad

[Todoroki]: And lastly, always take care of yourself. Quirks have drawbacks so always make sure to figure out what those drawbacks are. Be safe, and be self aware in the best way you can.

[Asui]: Exactly what Todoroki said. If you don’t take care of yourself, you won’t be able to take care of others, kero.

[Todoroki]: Ehem. I think it’s about time we take calls, yes?

[Asui]: Yeah, you’re right. The lines are open now, feel free to call in.

[Todoroki]: Hello. Please state your name for the sake of our listeners.

[Tokoyami]: Greetings. My name is Fumikage Tokoyami. I would like to add on to the question selected. From your experiences, how have you been able to defend yourself against quirks that are effective to yours?

[Asui]: Hello Tokoyami, kero. Defending yourself against an opponent who’s quirk is more effective against your own is definitely a challenge. I try to make the most out of everything around me, instead of charging straight in. Your surroundings can always help you, if you can find a way. In my opinion, charging straight into a situation like that is like walking into your own grave.

[Todoroki]: I try to do the same. Despite not being able to do too much with ice and fire, at least with the terrain, I try my best to find places where I can use my own physical strength against an opponent. Search for weak points and then, if the conditions are favorable, make an attempt with my quirk.

[Tokoyami]: I...understand. Thank you for your replies. Good luck on your further endeavors.

[Todoroki]: An interesting question from Tokoyami, I must say...

[Asui]: Yeah, it was good though. As expected from him, kero.

[Todoroki]: Mhm, he’s quite the student.

[Asui]: He was up there with you and Bakugou at the Sports Festival, right?

[Asui]: Anyways, should we move onto trivia?

[Todoroki]: Yes, he was actually, now that I’ve thought about it. Let’s move along though, it’s getting quite late and we should return to the dorms.

[Todoroki]: Why don’t we start with you, Asui? I don’t have many questions of my own right now.

[Asui]: Okay, I’ll go first then. First question should be an easy one, how far can my tongue extend?

[Todoroki]: Hm...I’d have to say a good few meters. Twenty, if not higher.

[Asui]: Yep, 20 meters is correct, kero. Second question, I have a friend who’s head and neck is the same as a snake’s. What’s her name? I’ll give you a hint in case I haven’t said it to you before. Her surname is kind of ironic.

[Todoroki]: Ah, I don’t believe I know this one. I don’t quite think I can answer this, Asui.

[Asui]: That’s my bad then, so I won’t count it against you. Her name is Habuko Mongoose

[Asui]: Third question, and the last one I have prepared. Who was my partner during the test of courage at the training camp?

[Todoroki]: Hm..I believe it was Uraraka, correct? We ran into her with Bakugou and Midoriya.

[Todoroki]: Oh, Tokoyami and Shoji were with us as well, if I’m leaning in the right direction.

[Todoroki]: But otherwise, I think that’s right. Am I, Asui?

[Asui]: Yep, Ochako was my partner. All in all, you got them all right, so congrats Todoroki, kero.

[Todoroki]: Three out of three. Hm, I knew more than I though. Now it’s time for my questions.

[Todoroki]: Number one. During the sports festival, who did I lose against? I believe this ones quite easy.

[Asui]: Oh yeah, I you lost to Bakugou. It must’ve been tough, especially right after you fought Midoriya.

[Todoroki]: Correct. I guess it was difficult, but he won fair and square really. Number two, what pro hero did my father recently find himself working with?

[Todoroki]: I can’t quite say it went well, but they worked together in the end.

[Asui]: Hm, I cant say I’ve been keeping up with the pro-heroes recently, kero, but I hearing other students talk about it at school. I believe it was Hawks, but I could be wrong.

[Todoroki]: Correct again. I’m not surprised the news was quick to spread, honestly.

[Todoroki]: Finally, question three. What form of combat do I specialize in?

[Asui]: This one is more difficult, kero. Your quirk can be both long range and short range, and you’re also pretty good at hand to hand combat. For this one I’ll go with long range, I think.

[Todoroki]: Correct yet again. Way to go Asui, you did quite well.

[Asui]: Wow, I really thought I messed that one up. That means we tied then.

[Todoroki]: Huh, looks like we both know our fair share then.

[Asui]: Yeah, seems so, kero. You did better than I thought you would, honestly. But that’s to be expected from someone at the top of the class.

[Todoroki]: Thank you, that’s quite nice of you Asui. But for our listeners out there, that brings us to the end of the broadcast, at least for this week.

[Asui]: Yep, I wonder who will be broadcasting next week. Todoroki, do you want to get some soba when we get back to the dorms?

[Todoroki]: ...Yes please. I’m quite hungry.

[Todoroki]: Tune in next week for more broadcast like this one, I’m sure you’ll enjoy them just as much if not more. See you all.

[BROADCAST END]
