HeLlo BNHA Amino! :wave: 🏻 I am Tsubaki, and recently started checking out this amino. Honestly I ed this amino ages ago when I started with the 1st season of the show, but I completed with all the recent seasons just recently and am still riding the wave so I got a bit active on this amino again. I was checking out and saw that there were events ongoing in here, they were really interesting and caught my eyes and so I decided to participate in them. I am a pretty new editor and still have lots to learn, but I still tried my best with these edits so I hope you like them!

THEME

We were supposed to do a crossover between the 2 animes -- Seven Deadly Sins and Boku No Hero Academia. Honestly I have only watched the first season of SDS and that too years ago when it first got realised, and so I don't have much idea about the anime. But according to the basic idea of the anime, all the seven sins in there are associated with one of the seven deadly sins mentioned in the Bible. Thus I decided to go with a very simple and straightforward theme -- I choose a sin and associate a student from class A who fits into the idea of the sin. And I pair them with the sin from SDS who has the same deadly sin. I chose students from class A only because I felt choosing characters from all over the anime would be too widespread and vague.
Originally I planned to do all the seven deadly sins, but that was becoming too hectic and time was short so I decided to go with 4 of the 7 sins only.

I think me choosing Bakugo for Wrath is a pretty obvious and straightforward choice. I don't think any other character in class A fits the description of Wrath more than the short-tempered and hot-headed Bakugo. I think this was the simplest edit of all to make, although it has a double GIF effect. Even though it is a simple edit, I like how this came out.

I was gonna use Mineta but unfortunately the internet has no good renders or fanart of him. :weary: So I just went with the second best choice, which is Kaminari. This is the first time I have used this many GIFs in my edits (just as I said, I am still a learning editor :"] ) and so I thought I was gonna face size issues for sure, but surprisingly I didn't. Pastel edits are always my speciality and originally the edit was pink, but I felt that the orange PSD went really well with the edit so I just went with this colour scheme.

I chose Todoroki because my opinion on him is that he was too drunk on his power towards the beginning. Maybe I am wrong, but he did strike me as the arrogant type towards the beginning of the show, although of course he becomes better later on and becomes real sweet and thus my reason for choosing him for this sin. This was definitely the most complex edit to make in the bunch. Most of the time went to creating the transition effect on IbisPaint X, and plus managing the time of each of the GIF effects was a bit tricky. However, I feel the timings came out pretty well so I am happy with how this came out.

I chose Yayourozu for envy because of that time when she lost her self-confidence in her own abilities after seeing how strong everyone around her is. I do feel that her loss of self-confidence was also accompanied by feelings of envy about how everyone is stronger than she is. THIS EDIT WAS SUCH A MESS TO MAKE I AM STILL TRAUMATIZED. :sob: 🤚🏻 I literally did my entire edit and then realised that I had not made it in the dimensions of the blog cover. Had to do quite a bit of work in IbisPaint to fix this. Also this edit is technically 2 edits merged into one and so this was equivalent of making 2 edits and this along with all the fixing took most of the time, even though the effects on the GIF were relatively simpler to make. This was my first time trying out this transition effect and honestly I think it could be improved, but the edit itself came out okay I feel.
