to the management of public chats.

1. CHAT BASICS

:: What your chat needs when it is created ::

2. STAFF WARNING SYSTEM

:: The staff team handles any chat

issues that are not cause for

immediate disablement based on

a 3-strike warning system.

:: How it works ::

____________________________

   • Should your chatroom experience

      issues in behavior or management,

      a staff member may give your chat a

      warning for failure to comply with

      Chatroom Guidelines.

   • Each chat gets a maximum of 2

      chances to correct any improper

      behavior or issues.

         》You will receive two

warnings. If an issue arises

for a third time, your chat

   strikes out and will be

    disabled.

    • Whenever a chat receives a warning,

        a staff member will the host

        directly with the following information:

         》Which chat is receiving the

    warning and how many

  warnings the chat currently

has.

       》The reason for the warning

and what issue or behavior

needs to be corrected.

        》Depending on the situation,

we may inform you if any

non-staff chat

were removed.

If this is the case, we will

inform you of why they were

removed and whether or not

  they can be invited back to

      the chat.

         》If any co-hosts were

      removed, we will inform

you of which co-hosts were

removed, why, and if they

can be invited back to the

chat.

:: Co-Host Removals ::

:: If the staff team deems a co-host

unfit for their role due to ill

management or inappropriate

behavior, they will be removed

from the chat to forcibly revoke

their co-host status.

Re-promoting a removed co-host

will result in immediate chat

disablement for failure to comply

:: If you are the host of a public

chatroom within this community,

we expect the following:

be temporarily removed and

disallowed from working as a

co-host in that chat again.

5. HOW TO HANDLE:

:: Inappropriate behavior & explicit content ::

      》If a chat member is making

        inappropriate comments or

       sending suggestive or explicit

        content/images, we ask that any

          present chat staff take the

        following actions:

           𝟭. Take 𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗗 screenshots

            of the relevant message(s) and

            collect profile links of all offending

             s.

           𝟮. Warn or remove the (s) as

             needed for the infraction.

           𝟯. a mod or utilize the Staff

             Center to report the inappropriate

         behavior by sending relevant

              screenshots and profile links.

           𝟰. Delete the message(s) in the

               chat. Do 𝗡𝗢𝗧 delete messages

               until they have been flagged or

           reported directly to the mod team.

      》Please note that we also

        moderate for suggestive and

         inappropriate jokes, comments, or

       content sent in jest. We

        understand that some slang or

        phrases may be normalized or

        intended in a harmless context.

         However, we enforce our content

        rules strictly and will not allow any

         leeway for inappropriate language

       in order to maintain an appropriate

           and safe environment for all s

           within the community.

      》The mod team will always remove

       s who receive official moderation

           for breaking guidelines in public  

           chatrooms.

       If the removed cannot be

      re-invited to the chat, a mod will

       inform the host of this directly.

        Otherwise, removed s may

       be re-invited at the host's discretion.

:: Trolling & Raiding ::

   》Identifying trolls & raiders:

      • Trolls/raiders are s who

          may chatrooms with the

          intent to cause a commotion

          and spam s with inappropriate

          or offensive content.

      • Generally, this happens with blank,

          low-level s. Often these

          s the community for

          this sole purpose, but any ,

          regardless of level, that engages in

          such activities may be classified as

          a troll/raider and will receive moderation

          accordingly.

      》If a chat member is trolling or

       raiding a chatroom, we ask that

       any present chat staff take the

       following actions:

          𝟭. Remove the troll(s) or raider(s)

           from the chat 𝗜𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗬.

           Please do 𝗡𝗢𝗧 delete messages

           until 𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥 some have been

           screenshotted/flagged and

           reported properly. Once that is

           done, offensive or inappropriate

            chat messages may be deleted.

           Curators will help control any troll/

           raid behavior in chats until a

             leader is available to strike or ban

            the (s) in question.

          𝟮. Take 𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗗 screenshots

            of relevant offensive messages

            or content and collect profile

            links of all offending s.

            If a lot of messages are being

            sent, you do 𝗡𝗢𝗧 need to

           screenshot all of them, we just

          need to get an understanding of

             the type of content being sent.

           𝟯. Utilize the Staff Center to send

             your report. You may send your

             report to a mod directly, but for

            urgent situations, we prefer the

             Staff Center being used to make

             sure any available mods are able

             to take immediate action.

              It is always helpful to include the

             chatroom link in your report, so

             that we may review the rest of the

              content directly.

      》It may be helpful to utilize View

        Only Mode in your chats when

        trying to handle a chatroom raid

        until the mod team can assist you.

      》Please do 𝗡𝗢𝗧 engage with trolls

        beyond removing them, reporting

        them, and deleting any inappropriate

          content afterwards.

:: Offensive behavior & bigotry ::

      》Offensive, discriminatory, or

       derogatory of any kind are

        𝗡𝗢𝗧 permitted within this

        community, regardless of whether

       or not you can reclaim them.

         Please treat harmful language

       and slurs with care and moderate

       them properly, even if they are

       used in jest.

      》If a chat member is making

        offensive comments or sending

        derogatory /content, we ask

       that any present chat staff take

       the following actions:

           𝟭. Take 𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗗 screenshots

             of any relevant messages or

            content and collect profile links of

            all offending s.

           𝟮. Warn or remove the (s) as

             needed for the infraction.

           𝟯. a mod or utilize the Staff

           𝟰. Delete the message(s) in the

:: Mild insensitive jokes & comments ::

          • Some mild comments may not

              require immediate official moderation,    

              but should still be treated with care.

          • All s retain the right to express

             discomfort about the discussion of

             certain topics or within reason.

             Please be respectful in these situations

             and treat them seriously.

      》If a makes mildly insensitive

       comments or ignores the

         discomfort of other s, please

       talk to them about the issue

         directly either within the chat or

         privately to ensure everyone stays

        informed about the issue.

        If the offending continues to

        make insensitive or uncomfortable

        remarks after the issue has been

       clarified to them and they have

         already been asked to stop, you

        may do the following:

          𝟭. Warn or remove any offending

           s as needed.

           Please be sure to handle these

            situations in accordance with your

           established warning/removal

             system (if you have one listed in

           your chat) in order to ensure fair

              moderation.

           𝟮. If the situation gets out of hand or

            the offending is intentionally

            harassing any involved s,

             you may report their behavior to a

            mod.

               When in doubt, you can 𝗔𝗟𝗪𝗔𝗬𝗦

               a mod for help, even in

            mild situations. If there is no

             action to be taken on our end, we

            will inform you of what to do

            instead.

            Some mild infractions may

             warrant verbal warnings from

               staff, so please feel free to reach

             out even if the situation might not

            seem too extreme.

:: Dangerous behavior ::

      》Any behavior that may risk the

        health or safety of any in this

       community may be an immediate

        bannable offense.

       Behavior that falls into this

       category includes:

             removal system however it

           applies in your chatroom,

            especially if there are consistent

            issues around drama discussion.

               If these discussions are

             happening in voice call and

            warnings to drop the topic are

            disregarded, feel free to remove

           any involved s from the call.

           𝟯. If verbal warnings continue to

                go ignored and drama is

           perpetuated, you may remove the

             involved s from the chat,

              screenshot/record the discussion,

             and report it to staff for moderation.

6. POWER ABUSE & IMPROPER REMOVALS:

:: Any and all removals must have

proper reasoning. You 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗧

kick someone from the chat just

because you don't like them and

don't want them there anymore.

Removals will only be counted as

proper if the in question

broke guidelines, failed to follow

your direction within the chat, or

has otherwise caused issues.

:: If concerns about chat removals

are brought up to staff, we will

the chat's host team for

proof of misbehavior.

If the staff team deems the

removal improper, we will ask you

to invite the back to the chat.

Failure to follow direction will

result in chat disablement.

:: Issues around improper

management and removals may

result in chat warnings being

given as well. Please try to

manage your chats fairly.

7. WHILE YOU'RE AWAY:

:: In order to minimize the amount of

issues that may arise in the

absence of the chatroom host, we

advise that larger chatrooms

maintain a large co-host team that

will remain active when the host is

unavailable.

:: We will generally not warn or

disable chatrooms for issues that

happen when the chat host team

is unavailable. However, if there

are consistent issues of chat staff

being absent, we may bring up

concerns about management to

the host.

:: In the event that you have trouble

managing the chat while you or

your co-hosts are unavailable, it

may be beneficial to make use of

the View Only Mode function to

ensure that conversation only

continues when chat staff is

present.

This is not a requirement, but it is

a good option if chat management

is a concern.

If you do use the View Only Mode

function, it is your responsibility to

ensure that the chat is not

permanently locked and that the

chat does not fall entirely inactive.

(Chats inactive for a month or

longer will be disabled).
