Episode 49

Everyone fear....because He’s NOT HERE...:

...is what I would say, except that obviously isn’t the case because EVERYONE loves him! I don’t cry or show emotion a lot when seeing anime these days, but if i had been a bit younger and this was one of my first shows, I’d probably be crying :sob: right now. All Might ended his career like a champ, and didn’t give up until the last possible second when everyone was saved! Farewell, Symbol of Peace! You will be missed!

1. Nana Shimura’s flashbacks were incredible- it makes me wish we had a spin-off on her life, or at the very least, some manga flashback of how her fight with AFO played out! And the revaluation that Shimura’s grandson IS Tomura is a little sad - just goes how sadistic All For One really is, to corrupt a little child just to get back at a dead woman and destroy everything she ever believed in. Personally I’m hoping Deku knocks some sense into him when he’s more grown up.

2. United States of Smash was incredible - it didn’t seem all that impressive to me when I saw it in the manga, but I guess that just goes to show that the anime really went all out this time around!

3. Watching all the people in the world cheering All Might was incredible to watch! The implication here is that good will always triumph over evil in peoples hearts, and that as long as they have something worth believing in, their hope towards a better world will never die! Izuku mentioned that this wasn’t a sad story, and I’m sure it won’t be long before he becomes the man that everyone worships as the next Symbol of Peace!

4. Izuku crying when he realized that All Might was finished was so sad!

That’s all I can muster this evening! I had more I wanted to say, but I was so much in awe of this episode that all I can say now is this:
