Ethergency Application

Hello and welcome to my Ethergency Application. I got asked to make a blog cover for This person’s application and decided to try out myself.

1.) Let’s start with the basics; what name or nickname(s) do you go by? What are your preferred pronouns? Age range (optional)?

My name is Elijah but you can call me Eli or Saint. I go by He/Him and I’m 18+.

2.) What are your favorite things to do with your time? Any hobbies you’d like to share?

Unfortunately, after work and university I have hardly any time for myself. For now, I love watching kitchen nightmares and listening to music as well as engaging with my family and reading true crime stories.

I always make time to complete projects however! Those always come first as you can see with my Number 2’s prompts.

3.) Give us one interesting fact about yourself!

I’m not sure if this is interesting but I’m obsessed with serial killers and can tell you many murder facts.

4.) What is your creative specialty or specialties? Art, writing, cosplay, OC making, editing, advanced roleplaying, music, etc? List as many as you’d like; feel free to show off here!

I’m an editor.

I also am an advanced literate role player but I’m a little rusty as I haven’t been practicing or refining my skills.

5.) How confident are you with the work you put out? Still nervous to post or share your work with someone, excited to do so, or something else?

I would say I’m rather confident, I love my work and I love the process of creating pieces. I tend to create for certain people and I’m always so excited to share it with them and see their reaction. I don’t make edits for likes or attention, I do it because it makes me happy and hopefully my friends who I give them to happy also.

6.) What is your favorite piece you’ve created so far? Why is it your favorite? Please provide a link or other way of showing us what you’ve chosen.

This set is definitely my favorite, I love the colours, the backgrounds and how well they work. The gifs are behaving and it’s the set I spent the most time on. Everything seemed to fall into place during the process; photopea didn’t crash on me.

7.) Which character from BNHA do you feel your personality or experiences matches best? Why do you feel that way? , this isn’t necessarily your favorite character, but one you feel could represent at least a part of yourself.

I feel like Hawks is someone who represents me well, I had a lot put on my shoulders from an early age and now feel like I need to please everyone. I idolise certain people because they’ve helped me out of tough spots and I’m known to come across as a little ignorant at the best of times which is my greatest flaw. I’m quite bold and loud but I love helping people with anything I can. Despite being young, I’m also expected to be the best which is something Hawks experienced also. Every time I see him in the anime/manga, I can see many aspects of myself which is nice but also upsetting.

8.) Who is your favorite character from BNHA? Why are they your favorite? Do you somehow aspire to be like them?

My favourite character has to be Dabi. He’s my favourite due to his sassy attitude and character development in the manga. I don’t aspire to be like him otherwise I’d end up in jail but there are elements to his character that I can relate to very well and I just love his design as well as the emotions behind him. Like most villains, his backstory tugged at my heart strings and I’ve became quite attached to him. Dabi is a very emotionally charged character despite not showing many himself and his little arc in the manga was incredible.

9.) How active are you on this amino? Please provide a screenshot of your activity and mention any offline obligations you have.

I’m rather active. I have work most mornings and I have university classes as well but I’m always online at night. Due to my weird Timezone, I tend to be awake when everyone else is asleep so I have no distractions from friends and can focus solely on prompts and tasks.

I choose the word chaos.

The dictionary definition is ‘complete disorder and confusion.’

The word holds negative connotations, yet Chaos also has its positives, for example, embracing day to day chaos can help us deal with more unpleasant events that come out of the blue, life is completely unpredictable no matter how hard we try to control our days there’s always something that goes marginally wrong. Accepting that we can’t control everything will help us deal with the unknown, which in my opinion, is humanities biggest fear. It isn’t always about causing havoc or ruining lives. It can be used to describe a busy day, a lifestyle, or perhaps a personality.

My life can be described as complete chaos, I’m not sure what’s going to happen nor do I care, during work and even in day to day life things pop up that I’m not prepared for, accepting that things happen has helped me greatly to find a solution to my issue and continue forward. Accepting chaos is a strength, not a sign of weakness.
