                 Yo there Explogency and other s/followers. During February, Explogency held a private agency challenge, a gore-off writing event where we tested the limits on making your gore enthusiastic leader jump happy with joy at your explicitly detailed gore infested work. Now, your leader is here to announce the winners and since we only have three entries, you all are practically winners in my eyes and all three works I read were damn fantastic.

              Jinxu | Jinx

             — Jinx’s piece was not safe for work

              so she is unable to post it on amino but

             I choose this piece specifically for the

             details presented to me in the most

              fashionably tasteful murder of our very

             own Deku.

          

              I throughly enjoy a good

            “gut-wrenching” in any type of murder

             scene and reading it out surely made

              me receive chills. You did so

              phenomenal, that I’m not sure if I

              should report you to the police or give

             you a pat on the back. Adding an OC in

             too was a nice personal touch.

              You will receive 1k.

Gothic Horror Chapter 6 : Sanguine Intentions

                              “Jaw-dropping.” I’m getting

                               good at the innuendos. The

                               traditional horrors of

                               legendary creatures and

                               beasts brings everyone back

                              to the time where the

                               unknown was our worst fear.

                              I loved how unexpected and

                              how quick that turnabout was

                               where the classic term of

                               “I’m not stuck in here with

                               you, you’re stuck in here with

                               me.” kind of comes into play.

                               Some of the additional low

                               key gore mentions, the nail

                               splits and incontinence, I felt

                               were there to make the

                               audience uncomfortable and

                               what’s gore if you aren’t left

                               uncomfortable and cringing

                               in pain? Well done, I loved the  

                               ending the most. Who

                               wouldn’t like some Rei vs Enji

                               amirite?

                      Tabotart | Thomas

                     Video killed the Radiostar

                     I practically live for internal

                     dialogue, especially in gore. Don’t

                     you wonder what’s going on in their

                     head while perishing to whatever

                     sick outcome the character has

                     been left with? It’s something a lot

                     of writers occasionally leave out

                     because we all tend to want to

                     focus on the action part of gore

                     rather than the thoughts circling

                     around and during.

                     I was left awestruck and entirely

                     pleased at your writing, Thomas.

                     The way you detailed every

                     thought, dragged in every sense,

                     and scenery of the story made me

                     visualize the living hell out of the

                     piece like I was either the one

                     experiencing it in Kaminari’s Place

                     or I was seeing it happen. That’s

                     exactly the type of thing that

                     makes you an amazing author.

                     It had me “choking up.”

                     Boom, three puns.

                  Overall, it was so difficult placing

                  these, you guys really are the best

                   group of writers and you deserve

                   the spotlight. Enjoy your coins with

                  whatever you do with them, just

                   nothing illegal and I hope you are as

                  proud of your work as I am.
