Namesake: Dōbutsu is referred to as animals of all kinds, growing up, Do has always found his comfort in animals since his mother ed away so many years ago. Arī is referred to as an ally to others, humans and animals both! Do has always been rather friendly…but sometimes a bit too friendly, that comes off as annoying.

Hero Name: DNAnimal

Hero Namesake: The name comes from animal DNA, obviously…if you didn’t know that by the name alone. The reason for this is from the fact that when he was little, he often chewed on hairs from other animals…quite a bit. He didn’t get any infections of course…but he did start acting strange as a result. He gave off the impression of animals that seemed a little TOO similar.

-Description- Thanks to the animal DNA in his body, Dōbutsu can shapeshift into any animal that he has taken DNA from, except for things like dinosaurs…for obvious reasons. The form he takes makes him half of whatever he chooses and his skill set changes based on which animal he becomes.

Personality: Dōbutsu Arī is very friendly and jolly most of the time, you almost never seem him upset and such. If you ever do, it’s on a rare occasion. Do likes to try and make new friends by approaching almost everyone he dems as friendly, but will avoid anyone that looks scary or insane. He can come off as annoying this way because he’ll never keep his mouth shut…almost never…this kid has a HUGE lunge capacity, so you might be stuck in a conversation with him for hours. He cares very deeply for his friends and is willing to take the fall for their mess ups if he can get away with it. However…Dōbutsu is known for the policy of “shoot first, ask questions later” and often rushes into stuff without thinking, especially conversations. But…if you are patient enough with him, he might just shut up for once and listen to you, like he wants in the first place, secretly.

For unknown reasons…Do can’t stand being on or even near a bus, almost as if he is scared of it

Ever since his mother died, Do has become overprotective of his sister, afraid she might soon meet the same fate

Backstory

Dōbutsu Arī grew up with a loving father, mother, and a no nonsense sister that was older by one year. Dōbutsu loved playing with animals at a young age because of all the zoos his mother would take him to every Friday or whenever she had a day off. His favorite animal was the Sibrain Tiger because of, and I quote, “it’s so fluffy” and because it looked cool and tough.

The years went on and Dōbutsu Arī grew up to be a friendly and happy person…until one day his mother died in an unfortunate incident that was claimed to be done by the LOV. His father went into a deep depression for 4 years, but never once delved into an alcohol addiction, because he knew that would destroy his relationship with his kids, knowing they were suffering too. Dōbutsu spent the last 4 years alone in his room, not even talking to his sister or father at all until he came out with a smile on his face as if nothing happened. He also developed an overprotective personality over his older sister since then.

Dōbutsu had continued his life like normal, while still ing the day his mother died and swore revenge on the villain that took his mother’s life. While it was just a rumor, he still believed that the LOV had something to do with it and vowed to become a hero and find the sick one that took his mother away and broke his family apart. While…inside, he tries to push those feelings he still has about her death away, pushing away the topic if anyone asks about her.

Why do they want to be a hero?

Dōbutsu wants to find out which villain in the LOV is the one that took his mother’s life, and is willing to force information out of people to learn the truth. Aside from that, he also wants peace for the world so no one has to lose their parents like he and his sister did.

Their view on All Might

All Might was a HUGE deal and a lot of people loved him, and Dōbutsu is no exception. He loved watching All Might beating all the bad guys on TV whenever he got the chance to. While All Might wasn’t the reason he became a hero in the first place, he was a small factor because of the fact he was labeled as the “Symbol of Peace”.

He likes wearing this stuff to symbolise the way nature makes him feel, free and happy

A wild and free style of a siberian tiger skin with the mouth on his head

Fox teeth are on a strap that connects to his belt, which shows off his dark red V line undershirt

Claw markings on the undershirt in bright red, resembling blood

Bear paws cover his hands, showing off sharp talons that could cut a tree in two

A belt around his waist that has a wolf tail on the back that moves on it’s own

His shoes represent falcon talons with sharp claws

Pants are made of gray cat fur, cut in the middle in a V line down to his knees

Hero Costume Sake Inspiration

The idea for his costume, while he hates the way animals are skinned and hurt, he can’t deny he likes wearing them as if they are with him as often as possible. He feels like he is truly one with the animals and chooses to become them. The tiger for its courage, fox teeth for their smarts, falcon feet for their dexterity, a wolf tail for their speed, cat for flexibility, and bear for power.
