A blood-red room within an unknown location is the backdrop for a tense scene, with Himiko Toga, the young villainess of the Paranormal Liberation Front, as the main subject of the scene. Before her are four people that she is most familiar with; on the left, her star-crossed crushes, Izuku Midoriya and Ochako Uraraka, tied up in a chair behind a wall of glass; on the right, her estranged parents in a similar position.
Due to a brief deliberation, she has finally come to with the choice given to her by her captor, the duality bear of death, Monokuma. To punish or to spare; that is the situation that calls for her decision, for the sake of her own survival, at least.
The crooked monitor at the center column came back on with live feed of Monokuma. Sitting in a chair and holding a glass of wine in one paw, the mechanical bear puppet returns after a short period to deliver some striking news.
"The survey results are in!" Monokuma announced. "It was a close one, but the majority of voters are in favor of punishing..."
The middle-aged adults behind the glass wall on the right give off mortifying expressions of those who face the gallows. The woman, Toga's mother, who was tied up alongside her husband, cried out, "WHAT?! Th-that can't be right! Why do WE have to be punished?! We're just law-abiding citizens!"
"Is it... is it too late to file for a divorce?" Toga's Father asks anxiously, which prompts a jab from his wife's shoulder.
"But still... if the vote nearly came down to a tie, that means that there are people that want me and Deku dead." Uraraka ponders with an terrified look.
"I wonder what kind of people are actually watching this livestream?" The green-haired boy asks out loud.
"Manga readers that are never satisfied with the animation quality of the anime adaptation of their favorite manga. All the while, they should, at the very least, appreciate the animators for bringing said source material onto the small screen in the first place." Monokuma answers Izuku's question indirectly with meta context.
"What...?" Izuku mutters to the bear on the monitor.
"Oh, I'm sorry, were you talking to me or were you just mumbling to yourself?" Monokuma questions the hero trainee, who only shares a flat stare.
"I still have a choice on the matter, right?" Toga speaks up as a morbid smile widens across her face. "So who cares if the survey agrees with my decision? I'm still gonna let Monokuma take care of my parents."
"Even though we're against your so-called 'love,' you still plan on sparing us?" Izuku inquires.
Toga laughs hysterically as if the former boy of her dreams told her a joke. Her expression then turns neutral in a flash, "No. In fact, if the three of us survive this dumb despair game, I won't be so merciful the next time I see you guys."
"Oh, right." Uraraka replies nervously, a drop of sweat rolling off her forehead.
"After all, at least I have the pleasure of putting you out of your misery in the greatest way possible," Toga grins maniacally before quickly turning to her parents. "These two, however, aren't worth the stroke of my knife."
"Giving birth to a queer daughter is one thing, but if I had known I'd have a homicidal maniac for a child, I would've taken Plan B!" Toga's Mother shouts regretfully.
"Toga, sweetie, don't listen to your mother! Putting you in all those therapy sessions was her idea, not mine!" Toga's Father says in a pleading, pathetic tone.
"Oh, so I'm the reason for that devil's existence?! Because I put in ALL the work in raising her right?!" Toga's Mother barks into her husband's ear.
"SHEESH!" Monokuma cuts in within the midst of the argument. "Who'd have thunk, that these two, who are the ONLY adults in this room, are about to face one of my patented, award-winning punishments? Yet, they somehow manage to embarrass themselves in front of a live audience. I'd sure hate to waste this one on these ghouls."
"WOULD YOU QUIT CALLING US GHOULS!?!" Toga's Mother shouts at the bear as if it was a PTA meeting.
"Whatever, you like it when I call you that!" Monokuma retorts in a condescending manner.
"It's a wonder how I was even conceived by them." Toga frowns while crossing her arms in contempt.
"Listen... Monokuma, right? I know they're not great people, but they're still just innocent civilians! They shouldn't be involved in any of this!" Ochako pleads with the robotic bear.
"Innocent, huh? Puhuhu..." Monokuma chortles. "Haven't you ever heard the saying: 'Not every child deserves a parent'?"
"I... think it's actually the other way around." Izuku corrects the black and white bear.
"Well, no matter how you say it, both versions of that phrase apply to this situation," Monokuma begins to explain. "You have these two nimrods, through some kind of twisted miracle, getting together and producing a child; one that is born out of crappy genetics, raised with fear.
"As for the child herself, given natural instincts and improper guidance, she becomes a monster whose love and affection reciprocates the complete opposite of 'True Love': That being 'True Despair.' Tragic, yet poetic!" Monokuma proclaims with gusto.
"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" Toga inquires with an annoyed stare.
"It means that showing your true feelings in such a scary way brings out the worst in others. Just like how punishing your parents will bring out the worst in them." Monokuma elaborates.
Toga scoffs, "If that's what you're gonna do, then get it over with!"
"Okay-okay! Let's give it everything we got...!" Monokuma begins.
"Wait! Don't do it!" Izuku and Ochako both shout in unison before the death bear makes his final verdict.
"Oh, I'mma do it! It's... PUNISHMENT TIME~!!!"
"TOGAAA~! DADDY STILL LOVES YOU!!!"
"YOU UNGRATEFUL BRAT!"
Monokuma then pulls out a large gavel as a big, red button rises up to his little throne; he swings his gavel down, pressing the button. Two 8-bit sprites of Toga's Parents are shown being dragged off by two Monokuma sprites, each dragging them away to opposite sides of the screen.

The Honeymooning
An unsettling scene of an art-deco style hotel hallway settles in. Toga's Mother and Father are standing in the middle of a creepy, unfamiliar space as they see two figures at the end of the hallway. They are a pair of identical twin girls, who are very much the spitting image of their daughter; the two of them smile widely with uncanny faces at the couple.
The middle-aged pair's glances turn into ghastly expressions as the scene pans back to the twins, having been brutally murdered with their blood-riddled bodies splayed across the floor. The nearby wall is inscribed with the crimson ink, spelling the word, 'Redrum.'
Squeaking metal can also be heard behind them, as they turn to see Monokuma, dressed as their devilish Himiko, riding a metal tricycle that's outfitted with spikes, spears and many jagged ornaments.
When the bear rings the bell on the handle, the front wheel of the trike ejects built-in spikes before charging at the couple at full-speed. With a god-awful sound similar to a screeching motorbike behind them, the parents begin running for their lives. Toga's Father, having slagged behind his wife, trips and falls; the incoming trike runs over him with the sharp, hazardous wheels, crushing and stabbing him while Monokuma mows down his body in a back and forth motion.
Toga's Mother briefly glances back in fear to see the bear throw three knives at the woman. Two of them miss while only one manages to only graze her arm. She dashes into the open doors of an old elevator, with a second Monokuma dressed as a bellhop operating the lift.
Himiko-kuma then runs towards the elevator with a fire axe, intending to chop up the poor woman. The doors of the elevator close just in time as a colliding clang is heard.
The mother of Himiko gives out a heavy sigh, her hand on her chest while she believes that her situation is over. However, this would only be short-lived as a sprinkler faucet in the elevator's ceiling starts spraying blood, falling onto the woman's head like heavy rain. The bellhop Monokuma, undeterred by the turn of events, puts on a snorkel and swim goggles. The lady begins to panic as she desperately tries to open the doors of the elevator as the layered depths of blood beneath her rapidly rose to her knees; then, to her waist; finally, it went up to her shoulders and neck.
Once the elevator reaches its designated floor, the doors open with a flood of red liquid pouring out. The bellhop Monokuma rides the drowned woman's body like a raft on a rapid. It drifts through the macabre river up to Room 237 with a serving tray carrying a "Virgin Bloody Mary."

Himiko-kuma opens the door and greets room service, who serves them their drink. They tip the bellhop with a piece of gum, sipping the disgusting beverage before closing the door. The dejected hotel employee simply takes out an oar and rows along the red stream, still dragging the dead body of Himiko's mother along with them.
:hocho: 🩸 :wine_glass:
After the monitor showcasing the execution switches off, the three remaining participants in the room react to the morbid event in the ways they deem fit.
"What... what have you done to them?!" Deku cries out.
"This can't be... real, right? We were going to die like that?" Uravity says fearfully, her eyes directly fixed upon the screen.
"Wow... Hehehe, that was fun! So, cathartic too!" Toga giggles, clasping her hands together from the sheer enjoyment that rushed through her head.
Midoriya glances harshly at the villainess, "You're really not affected by what Monokuma did to your parents?"
"You said they could've atoned, didn't you, Izuku-kun?" Toga asks as she purses her lips. "Well, this is the best atonement a girl could ask for! If you were my boyfriend and girlfriend, there's no way either of you could top that as a romantic gesture!"
The dreaded appearance of the death bear re-emerges on the monitor. "Glad you enjoyed that little performance! Lucky for you three, this Trolley Problem was one of the easier ones!"
"Easier ones?" Toga inquires.
"Puhuhuhu~! For the sake of excluding spoilers, the other participants in the game are going to make the worst decisions of their lives! The more the scarier, I would say!" Monokuma chortles.
"What do you mean by the 'worst decisions of their lives?' Are they going to sacrifice more people?" Ochako asks with horror on her face.
"And then some!" Monokuma says affirmatively.
"Well, you've gotten your sick kick, so if we're shown mercy, can you let us go?" Deku asks in a spear-headed tone.
"Don't be so complacent!" Monokuma barks at the restrained teen. "This entire triathlon of desperation is only beginning! While the others are playing out the rest of the game, the world will keep on watching without anyone on the outside interfering! By the time this game ends, all the hope that the world harbors will be sucked out and replaced with only despair!
"Right now, since the two of you are spared, you can watch the rest of the game play out in the Green Room! I even left out some complimentary snacks for you so you don't get hungry! Have fun watching from the sidelines~!" The robotic bear informs the two trainees as he pulls a lever next to his seat.
A trap door immediately opens up as Deku and Uravity suddenly fall into the pit, yelling while they made their way down. The glass barrier in the right side then lifts up along with a secret age that reveals itself in the back wall of the reinforced cell.
A celebratory chime plays while Monokuma makes his announcement known. "Toga Himiko; you may now advance to the next stage of the Game of Despair!"
Toga glances forward at the open doorway before her. She sadly wonders if her comrades from the League of Villains will make it out of the twisted game. Tomura, Dabi, Spinner, Mr. Compress, Twice... those are the people she is willing to fight for. If any of them were to lose their lives to that sadistic bear, she may have a reason to slaughter whoever is behind this elaborate trap. With any case in mind, she takes out her sharpest blade, pressing forward to the next phase of the game.
