-Overview-
-Hizashi Yamada, also known as Present Mic, is a Pro Hero who’s an English teacher at U.A. High School. Hizashi maintains the eccentric persona of a radio host. He often poses when he talks and maintains a certain level of excitement or volume, regardless of the situation. His attitude made Kyoka Jiro mistake him for a simple announcer, rather than an actual Pro Hero.
-When in front of a crowd of people, he often attempts to bring his audience up to his level by getting them involved (he sometimes refers to them as his 'listeners', even while on a live stage). He will continue to act this way regardless of the crowds' response. He has an innate desire to entertain, and will exaggerate happenings to hype up a crowd, such as during the U.A. Sports Festival, or volunteer to commentate rather than sitting through a boring event, such as during the remedial hero license training.
-Gameplay Overview-
-Present Mic is a rather simple yet equally destructive Assault type of character that uses his quirk to make some musical based attacks to overwhelm his opponents in the fight, along with their ears.
-With his Special Action, “Eccentric Increase”, Present Mic can enhance the capabilities of his abilities by powering up his voice, increasing qualities about each attacks from where their weaknesses are presented by a little to give that slight edge. The enhancement only lasts a limited amount of time before it must recharge back up.
-Gameplay Abilities-
-Present Mic’s Basic Attacks-
(By pressing the basic attack button, Present Mic does a punch with his right arm, then another with his left arm, before finishing the combo by giving a small shout to launch an opponent away.)
-Present Mic’s Alpha Ability-“Loud Voice”
(By pressing the Alpha ability button, Present Mic uses his voice, and sends a shockwave in the aimed direction as a slow moving projectile that deals strong damage. If this is used during the Eccentric Increase’s duration, then the shockwave travels faster, and gains a slight homing effect.)
-Present Mic’s Beta Ability-“DJ Punch”
(By pressing the Beta ability button, Present Mic throws out a strong punch, aimed in front of him, that moves him a small distance forward to deal good damage against an opponent. If this is used during Eccentric Increase’s duration, then the punch travels further, and gains a hit of armor.)
-Present Mic’s Gamma Ability-“Loud-Out Shout”
(By pressing the Gamma ability button, Present Mic releases a shockwave of sound all around himself in a big radius to deal decent damage to all opponents in said radius, which would be the same size as Kirishima’s Red Burst, but instead can reflect projectiles at the cost of dealing less damage. If this is used during Eccentric Increase’s duration, then the shockwave can be held down to deal constant damage in the radius of the shockwave, and gains a hit of armor as well.)
-Present Mic’s Special Action-“Eccentric Increase”
(When pressing the special action button, Present Mic powers up his voice, enhancing his abilities with more strength and other effects for 15 seconds. The effects that are given to the abilities are simple, but also cover the noticeable flaws in each attacks to give him a balanced experience.)
-Design Philosophy: Present Mic-
(The way that I made this concept is I wanted this character to be a simple character that goes from good on paper to good in execution, who’s also pretty well rounded. As such, he isn’t extremely flashy with his attacks, but he can help block off certain parts of the battlefield by giving his enemies less places to run or escape.)
(With his special action, Present Mic can even make up for some of the weaknesses in his attacks such as armor to tank through hits and keeping his attacks going a bit longer. His play-style can switch between multiple different kinds, as he can do a little bit of everything such as zoning, rush-down, or even lock-down, allowing for an effective yet simple fighter to take into the battle.)
