A wonderful adaptation of a

pretty common type of quirk.

Having quirks that allow the

to do whatever a certain

animal can do is a pretty

common format, but the choice

to make a quirk inspired by

Great White Sharks was a

well-made one. I only recently

learned of how sensitive sharks

are to the smallest changes in

the water current, and giving a

character the ability to do that

in air makes an aquatic-based

quirk really useful out of water.

The only complaint that I have

about the quirk is the lack of a

proper drawback. Everything

listed in the drawback section

seems to be the drawback of

going into the feeding frenzy.

Are there no drawbacks other

than that? Being what is

essentially a shark-human might

come with some drawbacks such

as having to be submerged in

water for an hour a day to avoid

dehydration. Maybe the drawback

for having such a strong jaw is

that the teeth are particularly

sensitive to temperature,

causing distracting pain in

different environments?

Some minor drawbacks that are

more like negative side effects.

I absolutely love the color

of Sakana's hair. The dull

blue with red highlights

reminds me of rust as if it's

been exposed to the elements

for too long. The variety of fins

on her arms and ankles is a

nice touch as well. I feel the

average person, if they were

using this quirk, might only

give their character a tail and

maybe a dorsal fin. Her hero

costume, however, I mostly

disagree with. Her fighting style

would be up-close and personal,

as her greatest weapon would be

her jaw. There's no real reason her

outfit should be so exposing. Not

only is it belittling to wear what is

the equivalent of a loincloth, but it

also provides no practical purpose

or protection.

Other than the stats, there

is only a short paragraph to

work with when determining

Sakana's personality. This is

perfectly fine, it's up to the

individual creator how detailed

they want to get on their

character's wiki. There isn't

much to critique here. I love the

idea of Sakana being a bit

egotistical and flirtatious and yet

holding herself to really high

standards.

The defining event in Sakana's

life was the abusive relationship

she experienced, and yet very

little is explained about it other

than the fact she was in it for

three years. With such an

important part of her life, it's

worth going into more detail. Of

course, you don't have to list

every single transgression, but

describe who this mysterious

partner was. How did Sakana meet

them? Why was she so enamored

that she failed to identify the red

flags until it was too late? Why did

it take so long for her to realize she

wasn't happy? Things like that, it

would explain more of the type

of person Sakana is, and how

she's grown since then.
