Question Of The Week - #55

i think Lady Nagant’s was one of the most compelling, especially when her story first came out in chapters i everyone would not stop talking about her current position as an ex-pro hero and her fall from grace. it perfectly capsulated working as the face of heroics but with the evil methods behind the scenes. there really was no justice as a hero and there was no proper reformation for those labeled as villains, no matter of trying to understand them or help them. it was like a punitive justice system she was under management to enact and convinced it was a necessary cruelty for citizens

I think Shigarakis past is a fair reason for him to have become a villain. He was manipulated from a young age after a violently traumatic experience, so his personality and constant itching makes a lot of sense to me.

all in all, he's a great character!

Toga and this is COMPLETELY personal but Kirishima :pray: :pray: :pray: these two have been my faves, along with Uraraka since say one. Uraraka doesn't have a compelling story as such, neither does Kirishima really, those two are a lot more heartfelt, but I had to mention them anyway.

But tbh, Present Mic’s is a little compelling but more funny. He literally defeaned people when he was born lmao

Toga for me— Probably because I love and relate to her, but— Her story revolves around alienation of a quirk she didn’t ask for. She says that she lived the way she wanted to; with a normal life and the cutest smile (or something like that). But we can all see she didn’t, no? She’s a little delusional and loves playing the cliche girly highschooler. She grew up with even her parents being disgusted and fearing her. She lived to have a different view on love, her values revolved around her quirk and her desire to be cute. This mix of blood, crazy, and desires made her do typical high school girl things like following your crush but she did them in a more extreme and bizarre manner. She then died believing she did all those things, but to her? That’s what she believes is normal. Because again, these are typical high school girl things that she simply took too far.
