How it works

Akai can release a red ribbon from her hands and feet, the ribbon is strong as steel but can be turned useless when coming in with water. she can control the ribbon’s movement. The ribbon can carry akai’s weight and lift her up, it can also attach itself to things and drag akai towards it. But once it has been hit with water it’ll be useless. If used too much the ribbon will start to get it’s own will power and perhaps even attack akai

Later on in her life she’ll lose the optimistic side of her and become less of a push-over. She’ll accept the cruel world for what it is and strive to get rid of as much evil as she can.

Special moves

Protection braid: akai can use the full power of her quirk to create a round circle of ribbon around her for protection. Though once it is hit with water it’ll fall apart.

Present: akai can detach a part of ribbon from herself and tie it up in a bow. Then she can send this bow towards an enemy and it’ll capture the villain/ enemy in this bow trap for about 15-30 minutes depending on how much power she puts into the bow.

ribbon web: akai can cover a whole room, maybe even a building in a spider like web made of red ribbon. This will last for as long as she can hold it together. The ribbon will be sticky and you could easily get stuck in it. This takes up all of her quirk and after using this she won’t be able to use her quirk for 15-60 minutes depending on how long she used it.

Additional equipment/ skills

Akai is a strong fighter. Her hero costume has specifically designed shoes for landing on her feet and jumping high. Since akai uses her ribbons to jump a lot this is a handy thing to have.

Backstory

Akai’s parents married to get a child with a strong quirk and not out of love. Akai never noticed this until the sudden ing of her dad. Her mom had told her it was his time to leave this world and enter the next but something never felt right about that. Because of her dad’s ing akai faced a hard time in her life but she used this to put full emotion into her quirk which she had received a month before his death. her mom trained her to become a strong hero, eventhough akai didn’t want to become one. Even going as far as to take away her childhood, thus akai never really had many friends. But since akai thought this was a normal thing she remained optimistic and cheerful- she didn’t know any better.

Since she barely had any friends akai spend most of her time studying and training for the ua entrance exams. With all this hard work she got into the hero’s course and worked harder than ever from then on.

After story

After akai graduates, she’ll become a pro hero. She’ll discover that her dad had died at the hands of her mom and will eventually have a fight against her mom. In this fight she’ll be badly injured and lose her braids. The girl will lose a huge part of herself in this fight- almost driving herself insane. Akai will defeat her mom but barely left her alive in the progress. Akai will be a very different hero after this fight, due to her injuries her main priority now is to get innocent bystanders in safety.
